SOL is still trading heavy.. it has a pop, but the gains are hard to hold onto. I think it will be a slow burn and ETH will outperform in the early part of any alt season, with SOL coming late.

I have a thought lingering in the back of my head that I cant get rid of. Stablecoins based on the USD. Why would anyone other than Americans want to continue to use a US based monetary system? I don't get it. America is basically saying "FY - we are going to punish all of you until we get what we want" to the whole world. Americas reputation is ruined for decades to come after putting innocent tourists in jail for entering the country, for threatening neighburs with military conquest, masked men blackbagging people in the streets, etc. Why would any sane state enter a economic partnership with America after being treated the way all of us have been treated the past months? What ever we give you, you are always going to want more and more. So why bother to begin with? I think it is a mistake to take dollar based stablecoins for granted. Sure money will flow into them this cycle, but long term I think we are going to see alternative stablecoins taking bigger market share. I may be wrong, but it is a concern. No one is looking at America the same way as before. Not one.

I hold some JLP. Nice to earn a return and perp trading is becoming a thing for the masses, with sig fees earned. Wouldn’t hold it in place of SOL, however, and you may as well just liquid stake your SOL to earn a return….but a smaller percentage in JLP will likely add a bit more return.
