If we dont want to sell our BTC (as may not have a lot), can we instead sell portions of our MSTR bag, and it "count" as ~ BTC profit taking? Additionally, my MSTR is in a tax-free account, while my BTC is pure form and would induce taxes.

James-you have not given enough info about why the orange. A WHALE sold 40,000 BITCOIN from a wallet inactive since 2011. (source KYLE DOOPS on Cryptobanter). Possible cause of the orange?

Anything is possible. You're really asking for probable, but even that is difficult. All sorts of things can effect that. Are YOU willing to bet that BTC will continue to rise or are YOU willing to bet that BTC will fall? Tons of factors for every one of us that determine that answer. You can always hedge though. Not Financial Advice.

I think the btc ETFs etc have brought us to a situation where the draw backs are not going to be as vicious as in the past . The question is if you sold your btc today at 118000 at what price would you be able to buy back in ? Maybe just hodl is the answer .

Yes I also made that point . Btc ETFs , adoption etc May have changed the paradigm and we may remain in orange for the near future barring a black swan event .
