SOL STRATEGIES leadership seem to be making some poor moves... less stacking, more reliance on validators etc... but the kiss of death for me was a reverse 8 for 1 split. This is a classic penny stock move I was hoping they would not make. Well they are doing it.

While I get it is to get listed on Nasdaq... it is rarely a good move. I love stock splits but I dont like reverse splits.

While I want to be in SOL Proxies, I decided to exist CYFRF at 1.11 today. While teh chart is good the premium is high when I compare it to UPEXI. I swapped into UPXI at $6.65

CYFRF NAV PREM

UPEXI NAV PREM is actually a credit... first time I have seen it. Either way if SOL rebounds I reckon UPXI is the faster horse. It should go back to at least level 3 at nearly $12 on ATR - I entered at $6.64

Why does this feel like a rug pull?

Bouncing back today?

How’s that trade now James 😆 too early entry maybe?

Pickled Egg

Down 5.67 real time, I suppose I should have waited, I’m in at 6.93, I suppose this is a HODL

Pickled Egg

Insiders are buying, that’s a good thing. This is a hold for me, Solana retracing for now for the next surge, as James says “patience”, I know for myself I have to be cautious of instant gratification, good things come to me when I don’t force outcomes on my timeline

Pickled Egg

As James would say stocks “can wreak your head”, not a rug pull, manipulation, also insiders are buying. I bought UPXI at now 6.88, yes would have loved to have waited for the 5s, but the NAV on this is awesome. I’m going to practice patience, don’t let the drop wreck your mind :), if your talking about SOL strategies, that is a rug pull for sure, glad I didn’t buy it…James did say treasuries are “highly risky”, so consider it gambling at this point, so use side money

UPXI looks like a rug pull... Sorry but I pass. My broker has even halted on line trading pushing it with a phone call to place it, which is not a good sign...

James, You probably won't see this comment but if you do, I am curious about your selling of Sol Strategies. Now with Ark getting involved and your sudden change of heart with CYFRF are you regretting your choice to sell? It's seems many sold based on your decision, data and switched to UPXI. That was their choice though and not your problem. Just reading comments and this seems to be a theme. Now Kathy Wood whom you admire is using it as its staking provider. Will this drive the price up for Sol Strategies? Or do you believe the decision they made about the split will still suppress the stock long term even if Sol keeps climbing and at some point and hits an ATH? Yes, I am aware that a response is not NFA.

Does anyone know UPXI’s current debt and cash position? I’m trying to get a better sense of the true net value of their SOL holdings compared to the current SOL price. I know the stock is trading at a discount, but I’m trying to understand exactly how wide that discount really is.
