Surprising everyone Inflation is Tame and GDP Growth is back.

The Tariffs work. It was never logical to think they would not.

Final point: The New York Times has repeatedly published misinformation. There ought to be legal accountability for media organizations that intentionally deceive the public. Deliberately misleading reporting is not just unethical—it undermines democracy and trust. Those responsible should face consequences.

If there were a court of justice for blatantly and purposefully deceiving the public via the media, the vast majority of congress, in both parties, would be in prison. There is no objective party to oversee and adjudicate anything, any more. Even the Supreme Court has completely lost all credibility of objectivity and selfless service to the truth.

Although a supporter of your channel, I’d say you also report misinformation at times. Saying the tarifs worked as a data driven guy is not good journalism. You posted today that you speak to grok all day. Ask it and also other LLMs about this matter. You would understand that recent economic performance is not clear evidence that tariffs “worked”. GDP fluctuations can result from many non tariff related factors. It would take more than a quarter to even conclude such a thing. A shrinking trade deficit with China helped boost this quarter’s GDP but this does not mean the economy is fundamentally stronger. It’s a technical lift, not a structural win. We can’t just celebrate and say things worked as soon as one quarters numbers is slightly better than expected. Maybe let’s stick to real data points and do our due diligence and use AI to help gather and synthesize data to come up with more accurate claims. All love🙏🏾

Most media report political views not news without bias. The NYT is one of the worst and why I canceled my subscription years ago.

You have to remember that tariffs started in April and most importers (like myself) made stock before this deadline. So the tariff effect will truly take place in q4 this year , You will notice it when you go grocery shopping. So yes tariffs bring money to US government but it will kill millions of businesses (nobody is talking about it) and it will directly impact the American consumer ‘s wallet so is it that good of measure ???

Agree, reporters are plants for political wiews to shift public opinions.

It's not necessarily, "Deliberately misleading reporting". There were (and still are) many experts that questioned the tariff approach. Having an alternative opinion isn't wrong and proving that it was deliberate would be next to impossible. I also don't think one set of reports is sufficient to say it worked.
