Close to what we have said for years... BTC is safe from Quantum for 5 to 8 years.

Grok says 0% in next 5 years and less than 10% by 2035

So if all assets are in digital than perhaps physical assets are the only safe path?

Ira

According to Saylor this is not a possibility.

The idea that quantum computers could "hack" Bitcoin is highly misleading. Breaking Bitcoin’s cryptography (ECDSA) would require millions of fault-tolerant qubits – a level of technology we’re likely decades away from reaching (if ever). If quantum computers ever get that powerful, every traditional system relying on classical cryptography would be at risk first – banks, governments, internet infrastructure – not just Bitcoin. Bitcoin, unlike most legacy systems, is open-source and adaptable. Quantum-resistant cryptographic upgrades already exist and can be implemented via soft or hard fork long before this becomes an actual threat. Reposting claims like this without context or verification spreads fear rather than facts. At the very least, I expect information shared publicly to meet a basic standard of accuracy, especially when it touches on complex tech like quantum computing. Let’s stick to informed discussion, not FUD.

AI would say it's 0%. Put in "what is the chance AI will destroy the human race?"...zero %

Perhaps Elon is thinking about buying more Bitty

Well if Grok says it, it must be true…

Am I the only one who is wondering why EM posted this just now? Only a week or so after his "Fiat goes to zero" tweet? Who believes in coincidences?

The number of BTC related posts at least got significantly higher lately...

I do think this is meant to reassure; however, your details are further helpful....and yes, banks go down way before BTC, and BTC can fork to Quant-resistant upgrades.
