Starlink's customer growth is a classic S-curve

August 2025, SpaceX announced that Starlink has surpassed 7 million customers, up from 6 million in June 2025 and 5 million in February 2025.

This represents a record addition of over 12,200 new users per day since hitting the 6 million mark, with the growth rate surging 23% higher than it was just 2.5 months prior.

If I was a Traditional Telco or Broadband Co I would be pooping bricks here!

Starlink now has the scale to undercut legacy players in both fixed broadband and cellular markets. T-Mobile has already launched Starlink's direct-to-cell texting service in July 2025, allowing connectivity in remote areas without terrestrial coverage. This partnership tells me broader disruptions are coming.
