The U.S. Commerce Department will begin distributing GDP data on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana! Perhaps other chains..... not sure how BTC can help with this.

Anyhow, rumors are Pyth Network will help verify economic data onchain.

Odd that pyth is up 62% and link is virtually not up at all…if both are actually participating in this.

Data stored on BTC is immutable and stored on every node so pretty important to not have published data changed in the future. Project Spartacus Preventing censorship and data loss: The goal was to protect the Afghan War Logs from suppression or deletion by central authorities. By inscribing the documents on Bitcoin's decentralized, immutable blockchain, the data cannot be altered or erased.

Is anyone buying $PYTH?

MrRob

I have only one question: why?

Lance

James sold PYTH a long time ago. I should have sold when he did. PYTH came out hot but has been crushed since March 2024 right after release. Today’s pop in price hardly made a dent. It was roughly .57 cents Dec 2024 and over $1.15 shortly after release.

Makes it reliable and guaranteed to have come from the gov't? Why wouldn't we want them to effectively sign all important data.

I just need pyth to do that 2 more times and I will be at break even. haha
