Likely will see M & A in the space where bigger more cost efficient miners swallow up the smaller less efficient miners who can't keep up

Not knowing how much it costs to mine a Bitcoin in Mongolia and Turkmenistan is going to keep me up at night.

Plenty of Sun and Coal in Australia, but why cost of energy so high?

Quantum Alpha

Fascinating! But how is Cuba <$4k but Iceland with all its virtually free geothermal energy >$100k? I figured Iceland, Greenland would be great places for data centers w/renewable clean energy and fresh water.

Per Grok: $13,300 Mongolia 🇲🇳 $2660 Turkmenistan 🇹🇲 Nighty night! 😁😴

No renewables in Greenland, pretty much all diesel powered generators. And clean water is scarce; except maybe run off in spring but that's not collected as far as i see

Ω

So why is electricity so cheap in Iran?

Ah yes... not fidgeting that there is an electricity bank, across europe for instance surplus gets sold to other countries. So stupid that recently as a result of surplus wich could bring prices down everywhere to more affordable levels, it just brought the grid down from Lisbon to belgium over a period of 3 days. Off course there was a kot of lying around it, but we are again on the brink off it haplening again. Germany pays far too much as an example then exports and imports...
