Mary Barra just dumped 40% of her GM stock. Confidence? Yeah, NO!

Legacy autos are limping, and GM’s been propping things up with stock buybacks for ages—just enough to keep the share price breathing.

Looks like Mary’s using IADSS - good timing.

German Auto Industry also suffering. Another major German automotive supplier closes its doors.

The ae group plants in Thuringia and Hesse will be finally closed. After the search for investors failed, around 650 employees are now losing their jobs.

Tesla (TSLA) insiders have sold more than 50% of their shares in the last year. Tesla insiders have been unloading their shares at an impressive rate. Excluding CEO Elon Musk, Tesla executives and board members have sold more than 50% of their TSLA shares over the last year. And that might only be part of the story.

Those new corvettes are pretty awesome though.

Stock buybacks weren't legal before Reagan..legalizing them was catastrophic for the middle class.

As an owner of a vehicle with a 6.2 liter 8-cylinder GM engine, I can tell you why she's selling. These engines built from 2021-2024 are suffering catastrophic failures at an alarming rate. They have already replaced 30,000 of them and a total replacement of almost 1,000,000 motors is about to be announced. This is going to rock GM big time as these are in Chevrolet and GM pickups, Escalades, Suburban's, etc. Word is leaking out and is killing the sale and resale of all GM large engine vehicles. Her selling her stock is the big tell. The gas guzzlers are their only profit vehicles.

Drove a Tesla first time this weekend and saw it drive itself. Very impressive and looking to put a deposit down.

She's utterly hopeless. Never seen her make a decent move since I've observed in the past year. Sinking ship. She's getting out. Sad for all the emplyees that can't just grab millions in sold stock and retire :( Grrrrr

She is in the know and knows it's the time to take some cash while the stock is still worth something.
