Cardano and the US Federal Govt Initiatives (Patreon)

There was considerable anticipation within the Cardano community and from Charles Hoskinson that the U.S. government would leverage the Cardano blockchain for official purposes, such as data dissemination or strategic reserves.

However, recent developments show that Cardano has indeed been excluded from key programs, including the Department of Commerce's initiative to publish macroeconomic data like GDP on public blockchains.

This effort, which launched in late August 2025, distributes tamper-proof economic statistics across select networks—Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, TRON, Chainlink and Pyth but Cardano was not selected.
