Over one third of a Trillion Dollars of melting ice cubes

And sadly - he sat out one of the biggest and fastest market rebounds in history since April 2025.

Warren can’t see value in the new AI world. It does not compute for him. While markets soar on AI profits, buybacks, liquidity, he’s refusing to chase the rally —waiting for valuations to reset - which they may not.

If we get hit by a monster blackswan and he buys the dip like I did in March 2020 when I moved to all cash Dec 2019 as I had Wuhan info.... he could still be proven to be a genius..... if not the alternative is a dinosaur.

Older people have a hard time adjusting to the AI world we are moving into. My mom said “I would never get into a Tesla cab “ 😂😂😂 .

May be hes thinking I'm 95, I couldn't give a shit.

He just invested $1B in Construction Companies Lennar ($800 M) and DR Horton ($200 M)… does he see a bottom in RE? Of course it’s just .0028% of his cash pile so he probably won’t care much of the outcome!

He will step down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway year end and finally retire. So I don't think he really cares 😀

He bought RE stock so he is bullish RE right at his retirement. Makes sense since some regions are hot with demand and going into the rate cut cycle.

Regarding "Warren can’t see value in the new AI world. It does not compute for him." First, I love the pun. Second, this is not new for him. I read years ago that he would not buy Microsoft until he started playing golf with Bill Gates. Bufffet just did not understand software and the value of the MSFT monoply. Buffet buys stuff like railroads and Coke.

Maybe is a timing thing, maybe it's an ease of transaction (fiat v's fixed assets). Either way, he has more than enough to see him through into the next life and then some

All possible, but remember it's not his money he's playing with. I agree with IA here tho. WB is avoiding volatility. Plans to use market drops as a safer method for gains. Not a bad strategy except for the market may not play out the same way in this new age. Time will tell.

Oh mom! LOL. Later she'll say that she never said that.....and mean it. My mom is similar.

True. Buffett doesn't even use a computer at work but instead reads stacks and stacks of earning reports of different companies. He's a giant among 20th century value investors and I am a big fan. However, the problem is that we are in the 21st century and he doesn't understand technology or AI. His time has come and gone. Things change, he didn't.
