Stablecoin Wars Heating up - Everyone Wants to be on HYPE! (Patreon)

Hype hit another new ATH last nite - smashing $55.... much of it could be triggered by the insane rev it it making from Perping but now it needs continued fuel... I believe that will come in the form of the USDH Stablecoin.
Hyperliquid is getting ready to roll out its own stablecoin called USDH, and several big players are fighting for the chance to run it. Paxos is pitching a more traditional, regulated option tied to institutions like PayPal, Frax is highlighting a cheaper, DeFi-focused approach with no fees, and Agora is promising to share all the profits with its partners and community. The final choice will come down to a vote from Hyperliquid’s validators, and it will be a big step in moving the platform away from its heavy use of USDC.
Each contender has a different strategy. Paxos wants to be the reliable, regulation-friendly option for big institutions, Frax is banking on speed and efficiency in the crypto world, and Agora is trying to win support by offering revenue-sharing incentives. At the same time, Circle is preparing to launch its own version of USDC on Hyperliquid, but some think it may be too late to compete with USDH.
One major challenge for Hyperliquid is how it handles the money behind these stablecoins. Right now, it depends on a small regional bank with limited resources, which is risky when deposits are already at $5 billion. To safely grow, Hyperliquid needs much larger, globally recognized custodians—like State Street, which manages trillions of dollars. Without that kind of support, the project could face regulatory roadblocks, growth issues, and a loss of trust from users.
