Telegram is a hot mess of scammers and malicious code—stay away.
And beware of old MetaMask wallets: JP Thor (founder of THORChain) just lost $1.35M after hackers drained an 8-year-old MetaMask wallet through a sophisticated deepfake/Zoom attack. He is a CRYPTO PRO... nuts!

Reminder:

  • Never trust Telegram links.

  • Don’t store serious funds in MetaMask or hot wallets.

  • Audit old wallets, migrate to hardware or multi-sig.

  • Always verify links, never click blindly.

In crypto, it’s not if you’ll get targeted—it’s when. Stay safe.

James can you do a detailed session on security. And maybe the journey (most) people will take from getting an online hot wallet, then moving to cold storage, seed phrases, passwords, google authenticator, 2FA, moving between cold and hot storage and logistically what actions are therefore required to do to be able to buy/sell/trade these assets. USBs, paper notes in undie drawers and trezors, etc etc etc... It's all a mine field!

Just got my Seeker phone, did anyone know and use it yet? is this like android phone except it has its own Dapps store, instead Google play store? can we download apps that's on google play? i.e. Uber, Doordash, bank account SOFI, etc etc.

Would a seeker phone with no SIM be secure enough to be your dedicated wallet machine? I travel around a lot and taking two laptops everywhere would be a pain in the arse.

Seeker also has the Google play store. It is an android phone, one of the most frustrating things is it doesn't have a back button 🙄

I took the hit tax wise converting my Bitcoin to IBIT & ARKB ETF's but i do sleep much better. I have also traded out some of my SOL to the new ETF and plan on doing more once some of the other ETF become available

Which hardware wallets allow staking? Are there any hardware wallets that allow you to keep JupSOL, JitoSOL, mSOL or any other liquid staking tokens? I have some SOL stuck on a hardware wallet not earning any staking, but I guess if my hot wallet ever got drained I would be glad I didn't stake it all... Still, I would like to get more of these off my hot wallet & still earn some compounding returns.
