The U.S. had its biggest EV month ever in August—9.9% of all new cars sold were electric. North America as a whole hit record levels too, likely boosted by EV tax credits.

40% of US Sales are Tesla.

Europe is still ahead of the U.S., and China continues to dominate the global EV market.

One thing is certain: EV penetration will keep growing—and transportation as we know it is going to be transformed.

The analogy is simple but powerful: imagine putting a petrol engine inside a robot. It would be bulky, inefficient, constantly need refueling, and prone to breakdowns. Robots need electric motors for precision, reliability, and control. Cars are just robots on wheels—and the world is waking up to the fact that EVs make far more sense for that role.

Best explanation I ever heard was this. Imagine a world where EV invested first Now you come along and invented an ICE car. How would you sell it? How would you highlight advantages? How to accept the negatives?

Agreed. With global warming increasing it would be silly to buy an ICE car. It will melt! 🤣

And what about TAM and what if the demand for EVs wont grow in other areas like "red states" where you can drive all day and wont see a Tesla. I am not worried about Tesla (megapacks, robots, solar, etc.) as a company but I just do not see the US numbers going up significantly. Happy to be wrong cause we will all win.

So 90,1 % didnt buy an Electric car. What a surprise

Tesla is not a car company

400 mile plus battery; model 2 rolls out for under 30k; and it’s game on. ICE will not be able to keep up. They are already failing slowly but surely, but can’t make a viable EV. EV is the future, for reasons explained above, plus less moving parts, near zero maintanence, superior technology. It’s a bot not a car.
