Is there any reason to hold MSTR this cycle anymore or is it only going to be worth it if you hold it for 8-10 years?

Sum_Gi

What is the buy target for MSTR? The charts look like a range setting up of 240 - 440.

Elo IA peeps, I had a few AI Chatbots explain how to calculate Nav premium of MSTR ChatGPT results Nav Premium: * Diluted (BTC-only): ~1.53×. * If you subtract debt/preferred (roughly): ~1.82×. Google Gemini: ~1.82×. Does InvestAnswers have a video where he explains how he calculates MSTR NAV Premium? For those like me, who need their hands held a little, I see: NAV Premium = Net Asset Value = (Value of Assets (ie, BTC) - liabilities) / number of shares MSTR BTC (ie assets) = 638,985 (this was before James posted MSTR acquired 850 more BTC) MSTR liabilities = let’s just assume MSTR debt is insignificant compared to their BTC assets (ie, liabilities = zero) Basic number of MSTR shares = 286.488M So, would anyone be able to reference what numbers James is using to obtain NAV Prem = 1.33? Please and Ty!

MSTR has been a horrible investment these last few months. Sold all of my MSTR when it stopped tracking bitcoin. Rotated into GLXY. Just look at the difference over the last month or last three months. GLXY up significantly, MSTR down 7% over the last 3 months.

Hi James and team, when you have a minute could you update the MSTR google sheet...Thank you ;)

The excitement about more SATS per share would be great IF shareholder could redeem shares for spot BTC (so each share so many BTC). However, since people can only redeem for $USD - fiat - the lower the price of MSTR one could purchase lot less of BTC. Hope we can get some MSTR stock update / video - a case to keep holding it for the future vs some other "fast horses" at this point.

These buys are pathetic. After such an amazing run, it’s a bit sad to see Saylor fadeaway in the sunset, but I guess all good things come to an end.

How is he fading into the sunset? The higher BTC goes, the smaller the purchased have to be due to the investment required.

1.5 mNAV means we pay for MSTR owning 1M bitcoin – today. Saylor is king and MSTR will forever grow more than spot or ETF. But I've started to question if they will be able to grow into 1M BTC anytime soon. The bigger they get the stronger the gravity will be toward 1 mNAV. Maybe we can hope for FOMO hype to push it above 2 again, but I assume it's more of a short term play. Would be interesting to hear James perspective on what premium MSTR should have long term. Maybe there are services or products they can base the bitcoin stack on that supports a high premium.

Thank you for sharing Strategy.com and how it directly reports mNAV = 1.53 I was trying to see if I can send you DM to not ask such noob questions in public, but can’t figure it out :( Anyways, @PZ would you mind addressing some of these questions? Question 1: would you mind very briefly helping me understand how growth of MSTR (and/or growth of BTC) would effectively lower mNAV to 1? Question 2: Also, in the case were… let’s just say hypothetical here, MSTR accumulates a lot of debt, that would technically mean mNAV could be less than 1, even negative, is that right? Question 3: This “mNAV”, “NAV premium”, NAV = net asset value thing -> it doesn’t only just exist for only MSTR right? Other securities have mNAV’s? Question 4: Long story short and to not get into a rabbit hole here: “mNAV” seems like a number we multiply BTC price by to obtain an “estimate” of what MSTR price is, correct? TYVM :)
