when they make these price predictions, for what point is it referring to? Always end of year? End of quarter? Anyone can say anything and it is like yes that is my target but for 5 years or something. My price target for gold is $10000 but it is a 20 yr analysis LOL

Do these guys actually evaluate a company correctly or just look at financials? For example, do they try model market capture of different lines of business and growth demand in those areas? I feel like you can hardly call someone an analyst that only focuses on a couple of financial ratios, which it seems like all they do?
