Bearish sentiment in the Bitcoin market is running extremely high as short positions continue to build.

This time of year often brings volatility, and last week’s sharp sell-off has made retail traders increasingly nervous or lose faith altogether.

Meanwhile, gold has surged to record levels, with the performance gap between gold and Bitcoin widening by roughly 20% over the past week.

We’re already in a cutting cycle. People always wondered if cuts are bearish or bullish (historically it’s been bearish) and the price action since the cutting cycle started has PROVEN it’s a bearish event…but for some reason the narrative in this community is that it’s bullish 😂
