Content

Oxford researchers just confirmed my worst fears:

The internet is dying — and AI is killing it. AI content made up only

  • ~5% of the web in 2020.

  • By May 2025, it’s 48%.

  • Next year? Over 90%.

Why? Because AI writes for less than a cent.

Humans cost $10–$100 per article. Watchout MSM

Why I care

But the real danger isn’t cheap content — it’s model collapse. When AI trains on AI-generated text, it’s like photocopying a photocopy: every generation loses clarity. Think one massive delusional echo chamber.

Original thought fades.

Everything starts to sound the same. And it’s recursive — today’s AI sludge becomes tomorrow’s training data, dragging quality down with every loop.

ENTER ELON

Now I get why Elon’s obsessed with a truth-seeking AI. Feelings aside — the world desperately needs the truth

Maine McEachern

This is a critical issue. It should be law that every piece of AI generated content should be watermarked as such.

Didn't this already start to happen with multiple models AI art? ART 100%, ART 90% AI 10%, ART 80% AI 20%, etc When the AI started consuming more AI art it started to degrade. I think it only to like 30% AI art to start to see the degradation.
