Tesla FSD running around Tokyo (Patreon)

Nikkei praised Tesla’s FSD today after testing it in the busy streets of Tokyo! Rem Japan is RHD like Australia (steering wheel on the right side).

Per reporter, FSD showed excellent awareness and handled traffic smoothly—often better than a human driver.

At one point, it quickly and calmly stopped when a cyclist suddenly appeared from a blind spot, avoiding what could’ve been a dangerous situation.

In another case, a car ahead started backing up on a narrow street to turn around. The Tesla reacted instantly and stopped safely.

The reporter said the car’s acceleration and braking were smoother than most human drivers, and it didn’t need any human help during the entire 30-minute test.
