A story out of Austin today of a multi-vehicle accident; including a Waymo. AMbulances and Fire Dept on the Scene.

If this happened to Tesla, it would be front-page news on Planet Earth. Because it is Waymo, you will never hear about it.

• 2021-2024 Overall: 696 reported accidents involving Waymo vehicles; data from NHTSA. Does not include 2025.

• July 2024-February 2025: 38 crashes

• February-August 2025: 45 serious crashes; one clear Waymo fault (wheel fell off);

• Up to June 2025: 398 collisions reported.

• 2020-Present: 192 collisions, 18 with injuries (across SF, LA, Phoenix).

• 2025 in Austin, TX: 80 incidents (including 3 collisions) WITH 25 cars

• 2022-2025 in LA: 22 incidents.
