I love Tesla FSD and the company as my largest investment. I got the upgrade a couple days ago to v14.1.4, my subjective experience is that it’s really rough and needs polishing. On average it’s worse than the v13 versions I had, which felt flawless. I assume it’s more powerful and has more potential, but it’s definitely worse for the time being on the same drive I take every day. This is just my honest experience!

i've had v14 a couple weeks now and this is my assessment: at times it does feel more "sentient" when avoiding objects in the road or potholes. it reacts the same way i would. however, during general driving it seems more hesitant, much like a human. when coming up on a red light, or turning lanes, it seems not sure which lane to pick, and will teeter back and forth before choosing one. i don't enjoy that sense of hesitation and uncertainty. v13 was much smoother in this regard. summary - v14 excels at avoiding objects/potholes, but slightly falls behind in an overall smooth riding experience.
