On your feet, maggot...we gotta listen to a podcast! Today's episode marks the 3rd movie of the 3rd year of Jesseuary, and somehow also the 2nd Tom Cruise as well. I didn't realize it til just now, but hell, maybe the most famous action star in the universe is good at making action movies. Luckily this week's guest is somebody who actually does realize stuff about movies and the people in them, an actor in his own right and the host of Blank Check with Griffin and David, it's Griffin Newman!

I think there is like a fantasy-fulfilment element to Cruise's character being gangpressed into fighting. After we all saw those Iraq war liars in the media get away with it. Like seeing Scooter Libby or Colin Powell get busted down to private and forced onto the front line
