There is a season 3 coming, they just started filming it actually! I don’t think this is a spoiler but if it is let me know and I can take it out but the first 3 episodes of this season go back and forth between present time and the last year. It can get confusing sometimes lol I even had to go back and rewatch to make sure I understood the timeline. Excited to see your reactions to the rest of season 2!!

Juli, this season, keep an eye out for some Dawson’s creek locations since this show filmed in same town/area. Conrad’s college is actually capeside high, you’ll notice as he walks outside on phone with her in this episode, it’s the same outside school area from seasons 1-4 of Dawson’s. And this season the group from this show visit a restaurant at some point, which is called Hells kitchen, the same exact restaurant Joey works at in season 6 of Dawson’s. After Dawson ended, some people bought that location used for filming there and kept it the same name and layout, and it’s still open today serving food and such. Pretty cool fact. I went there last summer and food was decent, sat in their Dawson’s booth. Had to have been a few months after they used it to film season 2 of summer turned pretty.

I don’t think it’s long since Susannah died it’s like a month after when they all meet up

Basically the summer part is the ‘current time’ and then they have flashbacks that start right after last years summer ended, and it lead upto the previous years Halloween time in October indicating belly and Conrad seem to be getting back together. But in current time of the summer after Susannah died, she’s not good with either brother and apparently a lot happened between last October and present summer that she’s not good with either brother. We’ll see in flashbacks as it goes October/november/december, ect in order in flashbacks as season goes

i got to eat at hells kitchen!! when i went to north carolina to meet the cast of one tree hill. I sat in the booth in between both dawsons creek and one tree hill posters
