Bonnie Bennit is the only damn character on this show that iv'e cried for. She sacrificed so much so her friends could be happy.

I remember when I first saw this episode, Elena was really pissing me off with how she was handling the whole Stefan and his amnesia thing. The fact that she almost kissed him had me yelling and cursing at my TV. This was the period during TVD where I was super pissed with the writers besides when we found out about the sirebond. We had been told as an audience that Elena was to make her final decision in the season 4 finale but when season 5 came around I felt they were still shoving Stelena down our throats when she had already chosen Damon. The Bonnie storyline didn't really bother me at all because I didn't really grow attached to her character until the last couple of seasons. Caroline was also so annoying with her constant talk about Tyler. I did ship Forwood in season 2 and the first half of season 3 but I had moved on from them as a couple at this point and just thought she needed to get over it as well. Now that I look back on your reactions I wish the writers had a Matt and Jeremy hook up because now that I'm rewatching it with you I see stuff that I didn't really see the first time watching it and I enjoy when you are like "Jeremy go be with your boyfriend".

Hi Juli, I couldn't agree with you more about your comments on the dragged out annoying love triangle this season. As I mentioned before when you finished Season 4, Season 5 is not a favorite season of mine and was an up and down rollercoaster to watch through due to my issues with the writers for Season 5. In my personal opinion since TVD is in one of my favorite shows of all time, Seasons 1-4 are the best/strongest seasons of the show. Once we reach Season 5, the writers get very messy with storylines, character arcs, and the whole love triangle issue. Things become confusing because the writers start breaking old rules they enforced in earlier seasons and coming up with new rules for the storyline that surpass the old ones, which as a viewer, is very frustrating. The whole Qetsiyah and Silas storyline has its own issues and the writers create many character arcs for our main characters that don't make sense to who they are. For example, you are completely right in regards to how the writers are portraying Elena this season. The Elena we all know and love made a choice in Season 4 to be with Damon. That choice, in turn, represented that the love triangle was finally over. She professed her love to Damon and wouldn't be acting this way with Stefan if the writers stuck to her character accurately. The only reason I can believe they made these stupid decisions was to try to draw out the love triangle when it didn't need to be anymore. This of course also disrespects Stefan's character, who doesn't deserve to be strung along by Elena in the first place after all he's been through. And to top it all off, Damon's character is totally disrespected by Elena's actions (especially in this episode) because it makes their relationship sometimes feel one-sided coming from him. In a way, it's an insult to us viewers (especially Delena shippers) who were finally given a conclusion to the love triangle in Season 4 when Elena finally made her choice. Having Elena now seem as if she still has feelings for Stefan (with her flirting, etc.) is just ridiculous. I don't know if the writers got together for Season 5 and said "Okay now that The Original family has their own show, that storyline is gone. What else should we do to keep fans hooked? I know! Let's keep the love triangle going!" Whoever's idea this was, needs to realize how tired the fans are of the love triangle and how ready we are to move on to other interesting storylines because this show is not all about a love triangle. In my opinion, the writers could've focused on different storylines that would've provided a stronger season. Season 5 does have elements I like, but more negatives for me personally than positives. My advice for you Juli is to try to bear with it this season as you keep watching and just know that us Delena shippers completely understand and agree with how you feel as I'm sure many of us felt the same way. I know I definitely did.

Omg yes!!! That's how I feel!! Why keep dragging the love triangle when you could make your characters grow? Elena been friends with Stefan and even Stefan and Damon bonding again. It's dumb ! So we'll see how this season goes. But I am sad that all the progress Elena made during the previous season just went to hell bc of the writers brilliant idea of keeping the love triangle thing going 😤

yes they do drag it alittle but i never saw her going back to Stefan after season 4 ...Juli delena are true love and the road to true love isnt easy, theres always bumps in the road and obstacles until we reach the finish line. This will be the last season when theres any kind of love triangle, Elena love Damon always and just got swept up in the moment with Stefan but thankfully she stopped the kiss. theres more u need to learn about this whole doppleganger meant to be crap, so please try not to be too mad at her. Delena is real <3

The Elena thing is annoying but I didn't hate her, or I wasn't angry at her.

Chantelle Miles

ok just saw your reaction and i get it now ....i was so pissed too at what elena was doing, she was leading him on abit and got too carried away. the writers shouldnt of done it but get why they were, trying to make us still think its all about stelena but i never believed it and i still dont.

Amanda P

And that's why Elena is the most annoying character in tvd lol
