I really think Stelena does not work anymore, after everything that happened in the series Delena is a more logical ending in my opinion, but my favorite character is Stefan! I do not like anything about how the writers wanted to keep the love triangle, Stefan and Damon do not deserve it, they both deserve to be happy with a person who truly loves them for who they are and without guilt; and in the case of Stefan, that person is definitely not Elena, so the writers can already leave this drama aside. I just want my Stefan to be happy! and damon of course! I also hated Elena at the beginning of season 5, actually I never really liked her hahaha but I think in this case it's more the writers fault than the character itself.

Not saying you shouldn't react the way you do, it's your genuine reaction and that's why we watch you - but I feel like you read too much into Elena. For example when she came to the cabin because she thought Stefan and Tessa had slept together; Yes he can sleep with whoever he wants but it wasn't just anyone.. It was a crazy bitch who he shouldn't trust. And Stefan and Elena were in love, her first love, she might not be IN LOVE with him but I'm sure she still loves him. Not unlike her other friends. I agree that for example in the episode where she walked Stefan through memory lane she seemed a little bit too flirty but I think she's kinda just like that and I never got the impression she was like actually full-on flirting. She loves and is happy with Damon but she will always have love for Stefan, not romantic maybe but still. You have a connection with someone you were so close to. Having said that though I definitely feel like the writers kind of want to do a will she wont she thing and I don't like it. I understand though, you absolutely love Delena(as do I) so when scenes like that happens or when someone (caroline, silas, etc) insinuates that stefan and elena belong together you get scared because you feel like they're pushing it towards something you don't want and away from something you love.

Funny but whenever Silas or Caroline said stuff like that I never felt like the writers were pushing SE. for some reason I instinctively knew Delena were here to prove the universe wrong just like they proved the Sire Bond wrong. (Not saying they did or didn’t) I agree that Elena walking Stefan through memory lane was a bit much and unfair to him but this episode I didn’t get the impression she was jealous. Just concerned. Like you said she will always have a love for him and she’ll never stop caring! Especially when she may feel a little guilty for his pain over the past 3 months since after all he was leaving MF because of her and Damon.

Elena was annoying this season but I think you were over analyzing a bit with the Stelena. I think Elena wasn't that bad this episode. Obviously she had her Elena antics but concerning Stefan, I strongly believe this was all friendship. In fact I don't doubt for a second that this was Stelena's friendship. Elena was doing her over protective thing with Stefan but it was as a friend. She smiled at him when he said he was gonna help her because she was getting her FRIEND Stefan back.
