in fact, the spell was to continue spreading to the whole world, but as Stefan died, the spell stopped and was contained only where it had already advanced at the time of his death.

I've been waiting all season to see your reaction to this episode BUT NEXT EPISODE is the big one that I'm not sure if you'll be emotionally ready for and I'm here for you girl.
