AGENTS OF SHIELD HAS BEEN RENEWED FOR SEASON 6!!!! I’M SO HAPPY!!

Billieboi

Great reaction Juli! I'm over here panicking because they STILL haven't confirmed if AoS is getting cancelled or renewed....the wait is killing me! :S

no need to panic anymore.. officially got renewed for season 6 !!😁

Thadman

The guy the Von Strucker kid was talking to was in Captain America: Winter Soldier and the first Avengers movie. He was one of the talking heads Fury was reporting to on video screens. Most of them disapproved of what Fury was doing, forming The Avengers. WE know now that he was one of the people high up in government that was HYDRA, although others don't know that. That's kinda what the reveal music was saying. If you remember him, you go, "Oh, it's that guy Fury was talking to! HE'S HYDRA TOO!"

Thadman

Lincoln and Daisy are not at the "I love you" stage yet.

Ha! the fans of this show were split, before this episode between Lash being Rozlynn, the bald dude and May's ex. I think someone threw out the suggestion of May's ex last and I was like, "Wait... ...maybe." So, I didn't know who he was before the ep and this ep checked off each one. xD

The guy you don't recognize is Gideon Malick. He played the same character in the first Avengers movie. (He was one of the councilmen). The actor is named Powers Boothe who was an amazing talent and was in a ton of movies and TV shows over the last 40 years. He died last year of cancer. We were so lucky to have him on Team Marvel!

I think what clued me in was the terrified expression on Strucker's face when he ran out of the convenience store before it exploded. Also, none of his HYDRA cohort were with him. I didn't think a mild-mannered college professor could do that sort of damage to trained killers.

Absolutely! Very cool to see him on our favorite show, plus a great call-back to the first Avengers film!

Whoops! I missed that you also replied to the question about Gideon Malick, and so much better than I did! :)

I LOVE when May goes undercover! She looks like a million bucks and STILL kicks ass!

I think you were referring to the "Bechdel Test". As I understand, if you have two or more women in a story talking together and they are talking about something other than a man.
