While I respect your opinion and can see where you're coming from, I have to say that maybe your love for Adena makes you forget that Kat is one of the lead characters of the show and Adena is not. Yes, she's part of the main cast and yes, I agree she should've had more screen time and have her character struggles explored as well, but I disagree about showing Kat's experiences. First and foremost we're following Jane, Kat and Sutton in this. So to me it is very important to follow Kat's journey in more detail (and I don't think we needed to see Richard's emotional decision, which you used as a comparison). Also I think it was important that they chose to explore the topic of open relationships, even though some people just don't get it. I could never do it myself but I still feel like it needs representation. And it was part of Kat's journey this season to experience her sexuality and I loved it. I ship Kadena as well, but as an aspiring writer I always try to see beyond ships and I look for character developments. Sorry this got so long..

Thank you sm for this comment! I honestly love when ppl express their pov in a respectful way because that opens a door for me to have a real conversation. Now, I agree, this is Kat's story and even if it doesn't look like that I have always liked Kat more than Adena. Since we get more from Kat's POV than hers. As an individual, Kat's journey this season it's truly amazing BUT I feel like KADENA as a ship wasn't handle well since we never got much of Adena's side of the story. Yes, the focus WILL ALWAYS be Kat but if you are writing a coouple, you can't forget about the other part when telling the story about them. Now the open relationship part wasn't my favorite, I'm a monogamous person so I will never understand that and my reactions and my review will be from PIV and that's why you see that I struggle with keeping myself from just ranting about how much I hate that bc I wouldn't do it. BUT I understand that ppl do it and I don't judge them it's just not for me. And my reaction will always be of a monogamous person. Once again, thank you for writing. I can't wait for season 3 :)
