Calculatus Eliminatus

So many comments to make after I get done watching. This ties into AOS season 1.

PhillyJ

I wont have a chance to watch until late tonight. I'm happy you're back!

Christopher simeon

Great reaction juli. Ok first off Aos season 1 premiered after this movie. Remember mike was going to explode the first episode. Second the president has made appearances on Agents of shield talking to Coulson if you remember. Marvel loves world building. Third tony does not need the reactor anymore to live. Highlights Would be great on YouTube but when you have time

Marvelous JJ

All these movies, that's exactly why Tony's my favorite :) So human, so strong, so clever, so, so brave.

There is a big difference between a highlight video and a FULL movie reaction...so I don't think anyone here on patreon should have a reason to not approve of you posting it on youtube. I also think it's a great way for your youtube channel and patreon to grow. I think it's a wonderful idea! :) Also, I'm so glad to hear that your mother is doing better. I also love to draw Mandalas or similiar random patterns whenever I'm stressed or need a break from something. I love doing them from scratch!

Alvin Cura

I am looking forward to watching this one. I echoed the comments of others, that the Agents of Shield tie ends with the movies are significant. But my dear, as thankful as I am for your reactions, I hope you are not overworking with all that you're going through. Please do be careful to take care of yourself, we appreciate all the content you give. Even me, who only watches Marvel things.

Carine Allen

I do not see why anyone would have problem with you posting an edited version of the reactions on youtube, many people do and I think it would be a good way to get more people to Patreon. Maybe you didn't notice, but the guy Tony meets at the party at the beginning of the movie, called Yinsen, is the same man who was with Tony in the cave in Iron Man 1, remembers that in the first movie he tells Tony that they met years earlier at a New Year's Eve party, they show this meeting in this movie. About the film itself, it's the most hated by the public among the Iron Man movies, but I think it was a very important film to show the more human side of a super hero, and how a normal person would deal with PTSD after the events that happened in the Avengers. Because you have Thor, who is a God, you have Clint and Nat, who are trained superagents, you have captain america, who is a super soldier and then you have Tony, who is the "normal" person, that in this movie had a completely normal response to everything he's been through: being held captive for 3 months; being chased by a maniac; facing an army of aliens and almost dying when crossing a wormhole.

The Ruptards

I fucking love this movie so much, it literally does everything right, but people hate it because of the twist.

Maia Momo

Juli can you turn upthe volume(of the movie) next time if it's not too much to ask because I have a problem in my ear(thank God just one). Nice reaction though, can't wait for the Guardians of the Galaxy!

Everyone seems to have a different like/dislike formula for the Iron Man movies. I personally like the first one, then the third one and then the 2nd one. Many people seem to really dislike this one. I think Juli said she liked the 2nd one better than the first, so everyone views these differently. I still have to watch this reaction, but am looking forward to it when I have the time.

As people have stated, the tie-ins to AoS is immediate as Phil mentions Extremis in S1E1 when they view the reconstructed footage of the lab blowing up in hologram and realized it wasn't a bomb that blew up but the man himself. They mention the Centipede serum was based off of it.

My favorite dry snack of all time is garlic plantains that I got from a snack service that I stopped using and I haven't found them anywhere else. If I could find some regular (not garlic) plantain chips, I love that also. I prefer them to potato chips or anything and they are SO addictive. I have to limit myself to a small handful or I WILL eat the whole bag once I open it. Can't find 'em though. Just a random tangent 'cause you pulled out the plantains at the beginning and I got envious.

Thadman

Oh wow, I forgot Eldritch's organization is A.I.M. That's an old school Iron Man/Avengers villainous organization. Evil like HYDRA but they're more about technology. Like evil immoral mad scientists.

Thadman

Also, The Mandarin is probably Iron Man's arch-nemesis, if anyone is. He has 10 rings that are magical and ancient. Wears one on each finger. There is a Marvel One-Shot (like the Agent Carter one) that takes place after this movie called "Hail to the King" that you can probably find on YouTube. It's about Trevor Slattery. xD

Thadman

Tony said that he was able to flush the Extremis completely from Pepper, so yeah, she's fixed with none of that in her system anymore. Also, if Tony want to wear a suit again, he has to have the mini-arc reactor to power it, like Rhodey does for his suit, but Tony no longer needs that in his chest to keep him alive. "Thor: The Dark World" is probably my least favorite of the Marvel movies, but some like it more than the first Thor movie. It's my least favorite, and yes that includes "The Incredible Hulk."
