yeah i was 100% on lip's side when i watched this. she's too caught up in the whole "i'm finally doing things for me it was an accident blah blah blah" she wasn't bothering to think about how serious the situation was. i always thought it was so weird that she fought so hard to get custody of them and now she's talking about prioritizing herself and doing things for herself. liam is still a child. you don't get to be selfish right now you literally signed up for this just like lip said. it's a messed up situation but so are their entire lives lmao. also i feel like it's a crime that emmy rossum and jeremy allen white have never been nominated for any acting award for this show. that scene alone just beautifully showcases how good they both are.

I cut Fiona a little bit of slack on being the legal guardian because she kind of had no other choice. Frank called CPS, the kids were taken into foster care, if Fiona hadn't signed up for legal guardianship the kids would still be separated. She did what she had to do. So legally, yes, she's responsible, but it should be Frank and Monica sitting in prison, not her.
