Julie I was the first to ask that you watch this show, which was around the time I became a Patreon, and I'm really glad you're enjoying this show. As I've said before, I always thought this show was far superior to all of the other time travel shows. Of course I won't spoil anything, but I will say the intrigue is just getting started.

I really think this is such an underrated show and I'm so happy you're enjoying it. It's so good.

Shaun Kemmer

Just happy others are loving the reactions too. We need more hearts and comments :pp

Protocol 3 prevents them from being able to take a life. A few times leading up to the shoot-out Carly tells the old people "Protocol 3 is enforced"

God I love this show. As for the 'not sure it worked because we're still here' im not so sure. I think like some other time travel shows even if they change it so they're never born the current them won't just dissapear. Because then they wouldn't have existed to make the changes that make it so they're never born. If that makes sense lol. The show doesn't really outright tell you stuff, you have to make assumptions and deductions And the engineer knew she probably wouldn't be able to turn the key "I guess it's too much to ask that I be the one who turns the k.." and since everyone in the building (and more) would die, the director could now use the military guys to send travelers. Some people ask why not just go for the boss(Gleason) - some say they were randomly chosen, some say that they traveled into Gleason last so that he would have used all his bullets and be unable to kill himself.

I like all the characters, but Trevor is my favorite. He takes everything so calmly 'cause he has...perspective.

Yes, they mentioned that protocol in an earlier episode. Wasn't it something like "Never take a life, never save a life"?

The second season of "Helix" is very different than the first. I did like the first season better, just in the sense of the story arc vein. Not so much making a judgment call of which season is "better." It just felt, story-wise, pretty removed from the 1st season, even if many of the characters were the same. I did like that actress on both seasons though.

Don't take a life, don't save a life, yes. It wasn't said in this episode I believe but they've said it before. In this episode they just said that protocol 3 is enforced and Carly asks Mac to use deadly force (suspending protocol 3) but is denied.
