One of my favorite things about Korra, is that this show delves into darker issues than Last Airbender ever could. Both shows I think, are world class shows for different reasons. I mean, here we are seeing an issue very relevant to today. People in power, out of fear, are treating all non benders like criminals because if the actions of extremists. When you treat people, who were not your enemy, as though they ARE your enemy, they have no choice but to become exactly that. You can't put everyone together like that, or you just prove Amon to be right about you and more people join his cause. This is so relevant to what is happening in my country today, and it had happened many times in history. Yet we never learn. I applaud the writers of this show for taking this on.

Also, Asami is gorgeous, and that's coming from a gay guy... So don't feel bad... Hahahaha. Mako is named after the first actor who voiced Uncle Iroh who died during production. Nice way to honor him 🙂.

You are right, Asami could be the animated version of Katie but Asami is a poc. I thought the same thing the first time I Asami though haha. I think ALOK is so interesting because it shows the world is never truly balanced. Aang ended the war and yet other struggled kept arising. I love the political aspect of it all and the different ideologies that keeps on clashing.

I'm so happy you are able to continue this show! Thank you Edwin! Another great reaction! It's so much fun watching you have the same thoughts I think we all did back when this first aired, like Asami is a babe and Tarrlok is sketchy af haha. Also, Korra's visions are a nice way to see our old favourites again, and they will make sense to you very soon, don't worry :)

Loved this episode. The rest of the season is just gonna be as amazing. Also, it’s not really strange to find an animated character attractive. You should’ve seen me thirsting over a guy from FMAB.
