this show has so much potential but the monsters just bring it down. Honestly the show needs more character driven episodes like this one. I also think they need to focus in more in the actual school and develop characters because that’s why everyone watches the show, not for some semi decent storylines about monsters and malviore . However I may be a hypocrite in saying this now but the monster this week managed to fit in really well, I actually loved it. I will never stop watching though ahah

Wade deserves the world 🥳❤️

Yenelly Tejada

He has been sending “evil” children that could cause real damage to the prison world, not just random kids. Also it’s been confirmed that Sebastian never compelled Lizzie to sleep with him. He said all that cause he wanted rick to kill him, he wanted to be hated because that’s what he thinks he deserves. If they didn’t erase Alyssas memories she would’ve done some real damage. She burned her whole house down as a kid without even meaning to use that much power, imagine what she could do if they let her have that much control, she’s veryyyy powerful so I get why they did it. She could really do some big real damage.

KMR

Wow can't disagree with you more than your assessment of Ric and the prison world. First you mentioned getting Alyssa therapy, she had been having therapy. All the students have therapy. We saw this in the first season with Emma in sessions with Hope and they mentioned how she saw every student and the teachers. Also Alyssa had been at the school for over four years and she wasn't getting better in fact was getting more dangerous. She didn't just burn Lizzie she used the linking spell to hide her doing it. That means it was planned out it wasn't just a in the moment reaction. Also the school does need to protect the people on the outside but the kids on the inside from kids who become so dangerous that can't be helped or trying to help endangers others. He can't just let these dangerous kids out into the world and he endangers the other children if he lets them stay. What other options are there? Also I like Bonnie too but she wasn't perfect. And Sarah Salvatore would have to disagree with the notion that Bonnie put everyone else ahead of herself.

Julian

I'm with you on this, Juli. I sincerely hope the writers are aware of what kinda story they're telling here and thought this through. Prisons in the real world already exist at the border to inhumanity, but sending kids to be by themselves in an empty world (where a serial killer is trapped nontheless) and just leave them unaccounted for? like.. what the freaking hell?! This is not how anyone should be treated, let alone children. I'm eager to see the specifics though, but right now I think it's awful.

When was it stated that Sebastian feels like he deserves to be hated? I might've missed it.

Yenelly Tejada
>>31681615

Well it was confirmed by the show writer that he never manipulated Lizzie. So it’s pretty obvious he said what he said to be killed by rick, he was even crying when he was talking to rick, literally if anyone knows any basic psychology it’s obvious he was lying and that he doesn’t think he’s enough.

He sent dangerous kids who could harm others, kids that are pretty much more powerful than kai. He wouldn’t have sent an innocent child. Allyssa it’s obviously dangerous, imagine what she would have done if her memories were never erased. She is a danger to others even with all the therapy, and they still let her go to the school, imagine how much more worse the kids he sent away were

You don't have to explain to me what happened in the episode. As I said: my current opinion is what it is, but I'm waiting to see the specifics of it all, the aftermath of the reveal.

I was with you until that last part. Everyone on this show had done selfish things so to say Bonnie didn’t put everyone over herself because of one person is dumb. (Not to be harsh)

KMR
>>31682926

But that was exactly my point. Juli was saying that Bonnie always put everyone ahead of herself. I was just pointing out that even Bonnie had a selfish moment. She definitely had less selfish moments than anyone else but even she admitted that she chose her own happiness in trying to get Enzo away from the Siren than helping protect Sarah which was what they were trying to do which did result in Sarah dying. Of course as I mentioned Bonnie was definitely the most selfless of the TVD characters because that was the one selfish moment I could think of right off the bat. This whole thing does make me wonder if Bonnie would really do anything different because they just happened to have Bennett blood on hand for the spell. Why? I am assuming it's Bonnie's so I would have to guess she would have provided it to them at some point and how many other spells are needed with Bennett blood?

Do you still like Landon? I remember on season 1 you called him "Puppy" but now you make jokes about him or don‘t look amused when he‘s in a scene

Yenelly Tejada
>>31700393

I was wondering the same... I think Landon is one of the sweetest characters on the show. I feel like she doesn’t like him at all whenever he comes up. I love Landon sm

Dominique Eugene
>>31700393

I was thinking the same, I hope she doesn’t dislike Landon because she doesn’t ship Handon and ships Hosie. So far Landon has been good imo.

Shaun Kemmer

oh comeon, landon is just being nice and you and everyone is shitting on him :X Matt in tvd i understood, he sucked ass

JuliDG
>>31708912

Wait? Who says I hate him? I don't!!! I even say during the review I even say they need to make his power better, the fact that he can come back endlessly without repercussions doesn't make sense, we need to have something to not want him to just die over and over again. Idk why you guys think I hate him when I have said many times I love how awkward and clumsy he is bc I'm exactly like that!!

JuliDG
>>31700393

Making a joke doesn't mean I don't like him, I make jokes about him bc he is clumsy and it's so easy to make jokes when he is around but I also think he is a sweet guy! But can we agree that we need to give his character more meaning? like the fact that he dies over and over again has an effect on ppl where they don't care if he jumps into danger bc he will comeback. It shouldn't be like that! don't you think?

JuliDG
>>31682926

but when Kai was sent to the prison world it was a decision made by the entire Gemini coven not just 1 person. And Kai had tried to kill his entire family, what did this kids do that was so bad to be sent to probably die at the hands of Kai and also doing it in secret without anyone voting on it? Ric is a human and while he is the headmaster it's not ok that he and Emma make this decisions without letting parents and kids know about it. It's insane that he even sent Sebastian there! He is judge and executioner, I don't think that's fair.

Nati Patti
>>31700393

Don‘t worry, I totally agree! He shouldn‘t die all the time and get some powers. It sometimes just seems like you don‘t enjoy watching a scene with him 🤷🏻‍♀️ but if you say it‘s not the case, then everything‘s fine! (It‘s also your choice if you like him or not, I was just curious about that)

Julian
>>31700393

I think he needs another power, something useful. Maybe he'll develop one eventually. That would definitely help his character.

Shaun Kemmer
>>31682926

He did it with at least Emma. But who should vote? It feels unfair to have the students(kids) make this difficult decision on what to do. It would have to be teachers/staff/higher-ups that decide.

Shaun Kemmer
>>31708912

I understand your point about his powers etc and I agree, but the way you react to him is how I react to Dorian. Rolling my eyes, going "great, a Dorian scene.." and being slightly annoyed or disagreeing with him even if he's not doing anything bad or saying anything bad - because I don't like him. didn't like him in TVD either.

JuliDG
>>31700393

It's not that I don't enjoy his character but rn there is no much going on with him and other characters are having more interesting story lines than him. Even Wade who I now want to protect! lol But like no one even cared that he died... again! So as the audience I am having a hard time connecting with him bc if no one cares that he dies why would I? you know? This is why having him and Raph together on their own adventures for a while was a better plan than the love triangle imo

JuliDG
>>31708912

Dorian is pretty boring character tbh lol But idk no one cares that Landon dies now, so I don't either since Ik he'll be back, idk it's weird

Shaun Kemmer

Sebastian was a mass murderer btw, Alaric was reading about him and the title was "Sebastian the merciless" or something

Shaun Kemmer

are you still reacting to the legacies cast videos?
