I find it interesting because if you think about it Jake, Nicky, and Jenny is very similar to Peyton, Ellie, and Larry. There might be a day where Jenny grows up and finds out that Nicky is her birth mom, and she might even act the same way that Peyton does. I think that as much as Jake and Larry want to be protective over their daughters, there's still a level of responsibility to allow them the opportunity to know who their parents are, and decide for themselves what they want to do.

I think you're right, it would be super unfair to ignore how much Haley hurt Nathan by what she did last season. But I do appreciate her fighting for him and trying to earn his trust back by staying, by asking about him, etc. They just need to heal.
