Is lucifer going to be today?

Honestly I am conflicted because on the one hand Annalise has covered up there crimes time and time again and protected all them including Bonnie and Frank. But on the other hand everything that has happened was because of Annalise forcing Wes’s mother to testify against Wes father and his family (the Mahoney’s) which led to Wes mother’s death and Annalise losing her son which is partially franks fault which then set of the chain of events that started with Lila’s death and ending with Asher’s death so far. If she didn’t force the mom to testify she wouldn’t have died and Frank wouldn’t have gave information about Annalise to the Mahoney’s which led to Baby Keating’s death which then Frank felt guilty for and owed Sam and Sam forced frank to kill Lila to make up for the baby’s death. Long story short it all goes back to Annalise. Honestly it would be a satisfying ending for Wes to kill Annalise and avenge his mother. Yes his mom killed her self but she was put in an impossible situation because of Annalise so she killed her in a non direct way. I think Wes and Laurel killed Asher or Michaela’s dad killed Asher to protect her. We will find out in next weeks episode. .

Jonathan Bodford

michaela and connor are my 2 favorites and they shined in this episode

Jonathan Bodford

plus if you think about it 5 years in jail compared to life in jail is wayyyyy better

Jonathan Bodford

also technically connor and michaela also havent killed anyone just like annalise

tefera

These ungrateful little bitches pissed me off, especially Oliver. Can't wait to watch your reaction

So as someone who is pro Connor and Michaela, my rationale is this: I feel like they exist in a sort of grey area between Annalise and characters like Frank, Bonnie, Asher and Nate who have actually committed murder. They did help cover up Sam's murder but the thing is, they only did it because Annalise told Wes to manipulate them into doing it. Connor and Michaela didn't want to get rid of the body, they wanted to be done with it. Laurel and Wes pushed for it and when they flipped the coin, Wes lied per instructions from Annalise. And yes Michaela did push Sam over the railing and Connor did chop up the body but they were both in completely panicked states over what was going on (and in Michaela's case she did it to protect Laurel from Sam). Annalise didn't start all the cover ups to protect them, she did it to protect Wes (I'm not saying she's wrong for wanting to do that, Sam was a piece of shit and Wes did the world a favor by killing him and obviously Annalise would want to protect the boy she'd tried to adopt once). But I think Connor and Michaela (and probably Laurel too) know that if any of them had been the ones to actually deliver the killing blow, Annalise would have just let them go to jail. And everything started with all of them just being in the wrong place at the wrong time (Michaela was trying to cheat through an exam and Connor and Laurel were just meeting up for a study session). And then in season 2, Annalise forced them to cover up Sinclair's death to protect Nate, another person SHE cared about (which again, I'm not saying she's wrong for doing it, just trying to explain the other characters' perspectives). I think that while Connor and Michaela have done some bad things, they are more deserving of a happy ending than Frank, Bonnie Asher and Nate who actually have killed people. That said, I absolutely want Annalise to get a happy ending too. I'm really hoping that her being caught so quickly after running away means she might actually fake her own death because people might not suspect her to run away again when it failed so fast the first time. And I do hope that Connor and Michaela can find a way out of testifying against Annalise. They probably can do better planning out of jail anyway so fingers crossed!

I'm sorry but even if she supposedly started this chain of events (I don't share your view on this) it doesn't justify her going down for the crimes she didn't commit.

Julian

I just hope that the ending won't be massively unjust. We all want our favorite characters to get away with it. I just hope that in the end it doesn't all get blamed on Annalise and everyone else gets to live happily ever after..

I also think that there is still a possibility for Annalise's funeral to be real now. However, she wouldn't get this kind of a service and have this many people show up if she was convicted for all the crimes.. so she either gets away with it and then gets killed or she fakes her death again.

She covered up Sinclair’s death because Asher killed her and Annalise felt guilty for it because she gave info about asher’s father to Sinclair who then went after his dad and he was pushed to kill himself another suicide caused by Annalise the 1st being Wes’s mother. Annalise motivated by guilty wanted to cover up for Asher because she felt responsible

Dana (Dah-Nah)

I'm 33 mins into your reaction and I just wanna say what you said at this particular moment is false... lol the kids didn't "all decide to burn him", Annalise had Wes convince them to do that, Michaela was shitting herself in the corner

thisismaria27

If you think about it the real killers among them are not being punished at all. Connor, Michaela and Annalise are all technically not murderers. Wes killed Sam, Bonnie killed Rebecca, Nate killed Miller, Asher killed Emily Sinclaire, Caleb Hapstall killed himself and Frank has killed all the others. You could say that Michaela pushed Sam over the reiling but that was still self-defense since he was coming at her. But since all the others helped cover all of this mess up through numerous other criminal activity, they can be charged with the crimes now. They're all criminals, but all the murderers are walking free. There is no justice here. If it were they wouldn't have spent all this time and energy blaming everything on Annalise. The problem is though if Michaela and Connor were honest about all that happened, there is still a high risk that nobody would believe them. Plus, they think Annalise successfully fled. Does that make blaming her right? No, of course not. But in that situation with everyone pressuring you into taking that deal, knowing if they ever went to trial the chance that the actual truth will be believable enough to convince judge and jury is very slim and Annalise gone anyway - they took the easy way out and at least protected each other in the process.

But Sam didn’t die when he fell from the railing , Wes killed him with the trophy 🏆

thisismaria27

Just to clarify: I completely agree with Juli that blaming all of what happened on Annalise and Annalise alone is complete bs. It's unjust and seriously unfair considering that she has protected all of their asses from the get-go. Wes, Asher, Bonnie, Frank and Nate going to jail for life would be the fair solution. Let's see how it all plays out.

thisismaria27

Also, how freaking annoying is Nate? I roll my eyes everytime he's on screen now. This high-and-mighty ungrateful sob. He literally killed an innocent man (with Bonnie's help, but still) and is acting as if he were he has moral high ground over anyone. At least all the other killers on the show don't do this arrogant bs. He honestly hates Annalise because she had the goddamn nerve to protect ALL OF THEM, including him. She won the case for his dad, it costing her sobriety and her sanity and he still wants her dead. He acts as if he's better than everybody when in fact he's a liar, a criminal and a freaking killer. If his body doesn't wind up dead or at least in jail by the end of the show I'll riot.

true, but they might've even gotten away with zero years if they won the trial. and i bet if annalise would've still been there, she'd have been the first to tell them to risk that. because they're brilliant minds and they haven't killed anyone (they just did the other illegal stuff).

thisismaria27

I think Juli meant that the kids at any point could've said no and go to the cops. in the end they all agreed to it (even Michaela shitting herself in the corner got convinced by Laurel and Connor).

Andreas

Great reaction Juli! I wanted to see more of Annalise and "Wes" :)

Annalise was their teacher, their "adult". There's a reason that there is always so much blame for teachers / bosses / people in a superior position and the people below them. They have a certain implied power. She didn't kill anyone but she was there from the start. She covered up the murder of HER OWN HUSBAND. She is partially <- responsible for keeping it going, covering things up, tamperig with evidence, threatening people, ordering other people (i.e. frank) to do illegal stuff, accuse innocent people (i.e. nate) and keeping this whole thing going. When people here and there are sick of hiding stuff and want to come clean about it, she convinces them not to. She is far far far from innocent. I know you did say yourself that yes she did illegal things, but she didn't murder anyone. Well, neither did Michaela or Connor. I don't agree with what they did to be clear. When a child does something illegal, their parent can be to blame. When a worker does something illegal, their boss or supervisor is responsible, because they're their superior.
