sandrinegeller

I'm so happy this show brings you joy. It did the same for me when I first found it a few years ago. We're all thinking of you and hope you are doing well. Can't wait to see more reactions whenever you want to post them

Darius 12

Lol if we mind...Are you kidding? lmao

Christopher Nicholas

I think this is the season where OTH moved from the WB network to the (at the time) newly created CW

Ritchie

Juli, of course we don't mind! So glad that OTH provides you so much happiness!

This also explains why Lucas was talking like he was telling new viewers what happened in the past and who all the characters are. New network so New audience

izzy

this brings me joy and im glad it does for you as well! i watch this show when i go through alot of trouble with my love life and friendships and even family. OTH has that comfort feeling that alot of people outside of the fandom wouldnt really understand lol but the fans of the show know what i mean :)

Dydra Arnold

So excited to watch! And of course we don’t mind! 😃

Gandhi_18

This brings me joyyy

Dani

We don't mind at all, Thanks Juli

If you don't remember (it was a long time ago) we first saw Watch me watch you in season 2. That username was sending Peyton creepy IM's and at first she mistaked it for Ellie. She then put the webcam away for awhile and now that username is back now that she has returned to using the webcam.

miah.sun

I really like the Rachel and Brooke friendship that has started. I don't love Rachel on her own very much but I like when she is nice to Brooke :) I like how their relationship evolved. I think that they clashed at first because they are similar in some ways. But I thought it was sweet when Rachel told Brooke to stay at her place.

Enzo

Amazing reaction. I honestly love how mature you are about everything you analyze ! Also, I never saw Brucas as an endgame too, I don’t personally think they have chemistry compared to Leyton ! I’m really excited for S4 because I don’t think enough people talk about how amazing this season is !!! Peyton’s storyline will be such a strong one. Anyways can’t wait for next episode. Stay safe Juli! ❤️

Sara Peterson

You're in for a wild ride this season!!!!! Glad OTH is giving you happiness and comfort <3 can't wait for more!!

Ritchie

This was a great premiere! It felt like so much happened just in this one episode. There are two people that I want to talk about, though. And if you remember just who I bring up in my comments 90% of the time, you will not be shocked that one of them is Ms. Brooke Davis. I think it takes a lot of maturity for somebody to realize that their relationship has run its course, that there was nothing there anymore. And if I look back at the first season, it really does feel like Brooke was very much more into Lucas than Lucas was into her. Even if he never cheated on her, I still think that would be obvious. They just didn't connect on that deeper level that is so important for lasting relationships. Yes, of course they loved each other, but sometimes loving each other just isn't enough. Like you said, Brooke has developed so much already! I love her development so much--it's a huge reason why she's always in my top 10 list of favorite characters of all-time. The other person I wanted to talk about was Rachel. I might just be overly trusting and an overemotional teddy bear but this is where I started to feel softer for her. She's so...lost, as to who she is outside of this projection of who she wants to be, as opposed to who she actually is. At some point, that projection became who she was and I think almost killing Cooper and Nathan made her realize that she's not a good person. But I honestly believe that, just from this episode, she's willing to change for the better. Or rather, has the potential to be better. Even if she is creepily attached to a man almost twice her age...

Dydra Arnold

All of the characters go through so much this season! It’s going to be a great one! Can’t wait for you to find out who is pregnant, follow Peyton on her journey with her brother and all of the other things she faces, and so much more. 😀

heather

Wow, was not expecting this! I’m so glad that this show brings you happiness & you’re excited to watch- that’s how I feel to watch your reactions! Post as many episodes as you want; we don’t mind😊

heather

Here we go with season 4- one of my favorites! I cant wait for you to find out who’s pregnant & see how Peyton and her brother’s story unfolds. Although I LOVE Brucas, I also feel like they aren’t endgame. Lucas’ chemistry with Peyton just feels so much more real, but Brucas will always be in my heart lol. I’m so glad with the way they ended things- Brooke was so mature while telling Lucas how she feels. This is one of the many reasons as to why she’s my favorite female character! As for Rachel, I don’t necessarily like her, but she’s an interesting character & I enjoy her storyline- it’s hard not to feel for her! I love the moments between Karen & Lucas! Dan is just... well Dan. I feel so bad for Deb. And our boy Nathan, he’s really going through it :( So excited for more!

Andreas

Welcome to S4!! :) One of my favorite seasons. Can't wait for you to see what's coming up for the characters

I agree with you on Brooke. I feel like Lucas tried, but he just never got Brooke the way she deserves to be gotten by her partner. They are vastly different not just in who they are but also in what they need from a relationship. You can even see it in their 3x22 fight - Lucas thought that she was mad about the library kiss and didn't understand that he's been drifting away from Brooke for a long time now and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. I think the writers pretty clearly pointed out why Lucas and Peyton would be more suited for each other - they have a sense of what the other person needs, they've built a strong friendship too and they're both introverted artists with bagagge. I just wish they didn't have to hurt Brooke that much in the process.

ikr? there is soooo much to uncover that year, so much growth happening for everybody - Nathan, Brooke, Peyton, Lucas, Haley, even Karen, Deb and Dan. the who is pregnant question was such a hot debate if I remember correctly. I wonder how Juli will feel about that, it's very interesting.

thisismaria27

I can't wait for more one tree hill, there is never enough one tree hill! welcome back juli :)

thisismaria27

regarding Dan: I think he does feel remorse for killing Keith, which is why he wants to support Karen now. He thinks this would be some sort of penance maybe. I think that's also why he attacked Deb. He tries shifting the blame for Keith's death now that he knows he did that for absolutely no reason whatsoever. But what he did does affect him and he can't take it back and it's really refreshing to see him truly struggle for once - with his guilt, his concience and I'm excited to watch you see where his journey goes.

Nathan
>>35004997

Lol It’s funny how Juli is able to play devil’s advocate with any character on the show except for the actual devil himself. But that speaks to how great the Dan character is. Hands down I think Dan is probably the most important character to any show ever created.

Nathan

Do we mind!?!? I’m stuck in my house, it’s been a month. These reactions are one of the few things keeping me sane! Hell no we don’t mind.

thisismaria27

To summarize all of our opinions: WE LOVE YOUR ONE TREE HILL REACTIONS JULI!! THEY KEEP US SANE AND WE WANT AS MANY AS YOU CAN GIVE US!! <33

Anna

Juli, come on, of course we don't mind. I think I speak for all of us when I say your oth reactions are something we always look forward to. They always put a smile on my face and I love going through this journey with you. Season 4 is a fantastic season with so many great stories for all the characters. You're gonna love it.

채영

omg yess i just finished your reactions to season 3!! season 4 is honestly just as good if not better imo

Rubi Moon

You should react to the season 3 blooper reel that I linked in the community tab. Also... if you're looking to relax, I don't think this season of One Tree Hill is the best of choices 😂 but as long as you enjoy it lol.

Bria Bey

I personally am not a Leyton shipper. I will always love Brucas more. I feel like the actress and actor who played. Brooke and Lucas real relationship problems held the writers back from fully pursuing Brucas because at the end of season 2 we were Brucas strong and heavy but then season 3 came around and they decided to insert Peyton back as an obstacle for their relationship. You are definitely right that the writers didn't give them a fair shot. Peyton has her moments of where i like her but overall she really frustrates me as a character.

seannae

Hey juli are you going to upload htgawm today?

Dydra Arnold

Also, I love all of the back and forth about Team Brucas and Team Leyton. Honestly, I have been Team Leyton since season one. Probably from the scene on the river court where Lucas looks at Peyton and says “I’ll be seeing ya” after he beats Nathan on the river court. Something about that exchange and the way they looked at each other.. it just officially sealed the deal for me when it comes to them. However, I love hearing people’s reasons for being Team Brucas. It’s always fun to look at things from other people’s point of view. Keep the comments coming guys! (Spoiler free of course 😄)

Jenn Rose

Of course I decided to go to bed early last night and missed this post. I so was not expecting S4 so soon, but omg I am super excited! More OTH is always welcome so of course we don't mind haha. As always I can't wait for more! Perfect time to watch this show ❤

fry

I don’t like leyton, but I’m happy for the people who do. With that said, leyton shippers have to acknowledge the fact that the writers said that if Sophia and chad didn’t divorce, that the brucas break up would not have happened. That I believe is the only reason why they stuck that leyton kiss in there, because if you watch s2, it really seems like they were setting up for Jeyton and brucas to be the endgame couples

fry

I can’t wait for s5 for some reason lol idk why

fry
>>35033703

I agree! The real life relationship bleed into the fictional one and I think that’s why the writer gave up on them, because I could really see brucas working out in the long run

fry

Also I’m not the biggest Peyton fan, but I really am upset about her and brooke’s relationship falling out, mostly because I think that Sophia and hilarie have great chemistry together and seeing them interact makes me so happy, but it was a nice friendship and it sucks to see it get thrown away over a guy

Enzo
>>35053847

Brucas ending up together honestly wouldn’t have make any sense... they don’t have chemistry

Bria Bey
>>35053852

Yea, I am ready for season 5 too. I'm not the biggest fan of season 4. It has a couple moments but i think season 5 is better.

Kirsten Rhodes

I love your reactions!! I appreciate that you are looking at both sides of Leyton and Brucas and trying to be fair. I've always enjoyed both and seen both sides of it as well. But let's be real, my heart will always belong to Naley!! Always and forever. I also remember watching these episodes and wondering who on Earth was pregnant and why they were trying to keep it a mystery lol! Season 4 is my favorite, so excited for your reactions!

Andreas

Lucas: "My name is Lucas Scott" Juli: "Yeah hello- I know!" LOL. So funny!

Chantelle Miles

Leyton forever💜 & Dan has changed actually but I'm sure he hates Deb too now after finding out and he killed his brother because of her he thinks but in truth it's his fault but he hasn't admitted it to himself fully. Deb & Dan can be as bad as each other I think
