One Tree Hill 4x10 FULL REACTION (Patreon)

I don't remember a time where I have reacted to 5 full 40+minutes episode on a single day and I have cried, laughed and cried again with them.

One Tree Hill has taken over me by surprise with this past 2 seasons. The first 2, even tho they were amazing, I could taken them easy. Reacting to one or two episodes per week. But now, I just don't want to stop.

The characters mean so much to me that even tho I know they will be OK and that I have many seasons ahead I still worry. That's how good the show is!

Thank you for taking this ride with me. Thank you for supporting me when I only posted 1 or 2 episodes a month. And THANK YOU for staying with me now that I react to 4 or 5 episodes a week!

 I love taking this ride with all of you, and I hope I can entertain you guys while the world is going to hell.

Not gonna lie—even as a gay man, Goth Brooke always did something for me 😳 But to be fair, the majority of this cast could wear a potato sack and it would make me question my sexuality

The movie they kept showing through out the episode was It's A Wonderful Life which was a 1947 movie starring Jimmy [James] Stewart. It's about a man who is struggling during Christmas time, and tries to kill himself, and is shown by an angel what life would have been like if he didn't exist. Which is what this episode did through out with Lucas and Keith as his angel.

we love your love for this show, it is just fantastic how rich these characters are and how you just feel with them ... this episode might've been confusing for you though, so I'll clear a few things up: *) Keith is dead, really really dead. As the "Ghost/Guide" version said, he is very much dead. This is not a spoiler or anything, it's just what happened. *) Lucas had a heart attack because his best friend was about to die. So of course he is reevaluating his life choices and in his mind Keith is his moral guide, which is why his subconcious is imagining him to help Lucas figure out things he already knows but has to come to terms with. Like the fact that his choices had a positive impact and he is not responsible for every bad thing happening to his friends and family. *) Lucas was there in that hallway right before Jimmy and Keith died, we know this. But what "Ghost Keith" is trying to tell Lucas is that he simply accepted the reality that Jimmy shot Keith and for Lucas that doesn't make sense, because he believed Jimmy to not be a bad person, just confused, hurt and mentally ill. He never questioned it though because he was blinded by his grief for Keith. So the "open your eyes" is meant literally and symbolically at the same time.. Lucas needs to remember every detail of this day (which he tried to avoid because it's painful ofc) and maybe even question if Jimmy was the killer. *) Dan took the fall and went to jail to redeem himself in his own eyes, to try and atone for what he's done - no matter if Nathan actually killed the guy or not. Dan wants to prove himself and he just took the chance to protect his son. He is then haunted by Keith again telling him what we already know: no matter what Dan is going to do, he's never gonna be able to erase the fact that he shot his own brother. He can't take that back. Keith's "I forgive you" was like a slap in Dan's face, because it means that Keith is actually a decent person and he can't escape the guilt of that. Dan is haunted and like Keith said "it's only gonna get worse". *) You're right about Brooke not being jealous of Lucas and Peyton anymore. In 4x08 she said that her and Lucas were over and she meant that. She knows that they both just weren't right for each other and she closed that chapter. Last episode she even encouraged Lucas to go after Peyton if that is what he wants, because very deep down she wants her friend to be happy too. But as you also said, their friendship needs to be rebuilt and they can't go back to what it was before. Because "like before is gone". But they both want what's best for the other person, which is why they talked to Haley and Lucas about protecting them.

I love your reactions so much. I just can’t explain how good it makes me feel and just forget how the world is just a scary place right now. For the « open your eyes » from Keith, you just have to wait but something is coming and you’re going to understand all of it. I interpreted it as an imagined parrallel universe. Lucas needed to know how he has impacted people and don’t overthink about this. Can’t wait for next week already god. Take care. ❤️

I wanna say this because I feel it's important: I enjoy these reactions very much, but I enjoy them even more when you enjoy them and when we all can feel and cry and jump for joy with you. This was such a good episode, I loved seeing Keith again and I loved watching him guide Lucas and making him value his life and his friends and that his actions had a positive impact on people’s lives. I love that he wanted to go back for Peyton because he hadn’t told her that he loved her yet. And also making him realise that he might have seen more than he actually knows. "Open your eyes Luke!!." Becomes a running gag until the end of the season lol. My heart was breaking for Nathan and Haley, that scene with Nathan yelling at Keith on the bridge was really good. My heart broke for him. And that scene where Haley wakes up and they’re both anxiously waiting to hear the baby’s heartbeat was amazing and made me cry as soon as they heard it and Haley started crying. I felt so bad for Peyton, and I loved the scene where Brooke talks to Luke and Peyton to Haley asking them to wake up so they can be there for Brooke and Peyton and ask them not to tell them about the conversation lol. It’s also the start of Brooke and Peyton starting to repair their friendship. I loved watching Peyton sitting by Lucas' bedside and putting the earplugs in his ears saying that he’s always saving her and she wants to find a way to save him. Dan finally did so something selfless and yes he did it to protect Nathan but he also did it to assuage his guilt over killing Keith. I feel so bad for Karen, she and Keith deserved their happy ending and I hate that it was stolen from them. That scene where he goes to visit Dan in prison was amazing, "I forgive you Danny. But hell won’t!" This was a fantastic episode. I can’t wait to watch you react to the next 4 that are much lighter Juli. I promise lol. You won’t cry your eyes out or freak out.

It means so much and makes me so happy that you get to experience the love for OTH like us....I can still remember the very first episode you posted on youtube and I went nuts but thinking it was such a long show and there were so many seasons, I had little hope we would get here.....OTH is an incredible journey for sure and it never stops to make us empathize by presenting dramatic but realistic human situations that we empathize with on a deep level and of course a gang that we love like no tomorrow, all of them BTW...So thank you Juli and can't wait for your reactions, I love all of one tree hill i don't think it ever really goes down in quality one way or another and hope we get to share the love for many more incredible seasons.

your comments on one tree hill which should be called the city of the scotts is hilarious to me because in france, the series is called "les frères scott" which means "the scott brothers" (it can be a reference to lucas and nathan but also dan and keith)

I remember last week when you were wondering if you should do 4 a day or one everyday for this week. I usually like the binges but I was like, if she binges, she will finish with 4.09. So I'm happy you binged and also watched 4.10

I started on 4x07 about 10 this morning, it's now 9 pm here in Norway and I just finished 4x10. I can't think of a better way to spend my day. It's no secret that One Tree Hill is a true roller coaster of emotions, and these past few episodes are no exception. One moment you'll be crying of pain and heartache, the next you'll be filled with so much laughter and joy. You feel for the characters and connect to them in one way or another. I think that's what makes this such a great and extraordinary show. You get the whole spectre in one single episode. It really knows how to mess with my feelings, but I wouldn't have it any other way. These binges brings me so much joy and in times like these and where our world is how it is it gives me comfort being able to relive this fantastic show with you, Juli. Just like s3, s4 is amazing and out of this world with the storylines and plottwists. And as much as I loved how intense 4x09 was and that something happened every other scene, I loved that they slowed it a bit down with 4x10. It still had me on edge not knowing whether or not Haley, the baby and Lucas would make it. But with the pace they kept it in I felt like I could actually breathe once in a while. Seeing Nathan so torned up and worried about Haley and their baby completely shattered me. "Please move one of those beautiful fingers so I know that you're still here with me." Omg, I'm crying so hard. And then at the end when they find out that the baby is gonna be fine I just about lost it. They were so relieved and happy, and Haley crying while Nathan was hugging her, it was like she could finally let go of all that worry. The Breyton scenes in this episode were wonderful. We finally get to see them starting to mend their friendship. Their conversation under the bridge was so heartfelt and beautiful. I will never love (lbr, I only like them, in this case love is too big of a word lmao) them as much as I love Braley, but Breyton on good terms is still something I will be here for. That scene where Brooke goes to Lucas to talk about Peyton and Peyton goes to Haley about Brooke, we can see that even though they've been fighting for so long they still care about each other and wants what's best for the other person.

I cringe every time I see Mark Schwan in scenes with Hilarie knowing now what all happened back then. I just wanted to say that this show is amazing. I love this episode for the fact that it highlights how much one life can make a difference in another’s and in the world in general. My heart was so sad seeing Keith as a spirit and knowing that his life was cut short and he wasn’t able to experience the happiness he had waited for for so long. With that being said, I love that Brooke was here for Peyton and put things aside. I wish she could’ve done that after the attack. But she’s trying right now and that counts for something. I have so many more opinions on Brooke but we have to get to those episodes first. I also love that Haley and the baby are ok. This is such a roller coaster ride and I’m glad we’re all here together going on it with you Juli. It’s a nice feeling to have what feels like a nice community during these hard times. I’m grateful for this show and everyone involved here on Patreon. ❤️

The way I interpreted it is that Keith was there. He's dead, but he was there, as a guide, like he said. But I see it more of a .... Keith is the voice inside of Luke's head. That's what the voice in his head has manifested as. To me, "Keith" telling Luke to open his eyes was that tiny little nagging piece of doubt that Luke has ALWAYS had about who killed Keith. It was just buried in the grief and the anger and the fact that there was really no evidence. But Like "Keith" said, Luke knew Jimmy. Why would Jimmy let Lucas and Peyton leave and then shoot Keith, one of the only people who really *cared* for Jimmy? I think that's what Lucas doubted and his subconscious is telling him to open his eyes, to remember the scene, find *something*. I like this episode because I feel like.... a lot of it can be interpreted in a lot of different ways hehe

I interpreted Keith there as Lucas' subconscious. Just like how in Legacies, Hope used that object to see Landon, it was all created by her subconsious and was able to be so much like Landon because Hope knows exactly how Landon acts. And then the Dan part was Lucas' subconsious piecing things together (Like how Hope did with Landon's dissapearance) so I don't think it's that far fetched to think that Lucas figured it out.
