Lucas

I'm fast this time lol can't wait..Wait until you see next ep!

Nathan

This is the first time I’ve been working while a OTH reaction is posted. The torture. Can’t wait to watch. Only quick thought I have about this episode is that Lucas is literally the worst boyfriend ever when he’s not dating Peyton. And it’s so annoying.

Claudio Cristovao

"Nathan was never like that." lol He was worse. But did a lot of growing up. But I am glad Nathan, Haley and Lucas are trying to help him out!! I’m curious to get your future reactions to this story unfolding.

Claudio Cristovao

I’m glad Peyton called Lucas out!! "He’s not good enough for you." That was totally uncalled for. It wasn’t fair to her or Lindsay. Lucas just shouldn’t be dating anyone who isn’t Peyton, he's a bad boyfriend when he’s not with her.

Ellie-Jane

Oh my gosh I forgot how much I love Millie!

Juliette

I honestly hate Lucas this season, and strongly dislike Peyton when it comes to Lucas this season too. I feel like they are hurting a lot of people (Brooke, Jake, Lindsey) that didn't deserved it, and it became annoying. Lindsey did nothing wrong but her character is so useless and no offense but the the actress is bland. That's been said, I love how Peyton is a good friend to Brooke this season and how she fight for what she wants (especially label wise). Also, Victoria is like the worst parent in Tree Hill (well arguably after Dan).

thisismaria27

This episode was the first one where I really started strongly disliking Lucas. He treats the women he supposedly loves like trash so many times. He doesn't know what he wants and lets all of the women in his life suffer for it. We saw that a little in S1 and S3, but this season is peak I-hate-Lucas season. I just can't with this guy.

Asaunte

"Nathan was never like that." Nathan was exactly like that. Possibly even worse lol

Agreed! I still think that after him and Peyton broke up (this season) he should've just stayed single for a while. He always throws himself into a new relationship when he gets his heart broken and then breaks their hearts because of it.

Claudio Cristovao

This was also Millie’s official intro to the show. 5x01 didn’t really count and I really like Mia as well.

thisismaria27
>>38382061

I don't think Lindsay is bland per se. At this point in the show we don't even know much about her. I actually liked Lindsay, it was just obvious that Lucas wasn't as much in love with her as he was with Peyton. He used Lindsay to get over Peyton, which is just so wrong.

thisismaria27

I love how Naley are trying to find their way back. Nathan trying to help the basketball team out, Haley focusing on her music again. It's so good to see! :)

fry

I personally didn’t mind Lindsay but that’s mostly cause i’m not a leyton shipper but this season made me dislike what they did with lucas/peyton because peyton was acting bitchy towards lindsay who has done absolutely nothing wrong and lucas is a terrible boyfriend but brooke’s story this season is what i love and naley’s because even though it’s sad i love the angst and the custest kid in the world james lucas scott

miah.sun

The fact the Brooke's own mother set her up for failure by ordering a bunch of high fashion clothes that she knew wouldn't sell is horrible. She purposely put her daughter through pain for her own gains. She also calls her daughter stupid by saying she doesn't have a business mind. People display their intelligence in diff areas and Brooke's is in her creatively. She also is prob not as well versed in the business area b/c Victoria hasn't helped her b/c I think Victoria wants Brooke to be dependent on her.

thisismaria27

Brooke is such an amazing character, I am baffled every time. And Sophia Bush just looks drop dead gorgeous on top of it. I love that after all the high school boy drama we see her as a successful woman who is trying to find her place in life. Victoria sure as hell isn't supporting Brooke right now, but only Brooke's value to the company. It's so sad.

Ash

I am honestly the biggest Leyton shipper and I have to say Lucas is literally the worst boyfriend to anyone that isn’t Peyton. Likeee if they don’t end up together he should just end up alone because he’s always gonna love her whether he admits it or not

thisismaria27
>>38382591

Exactly! Victoria used the fact that Brooke needed her business expertise when she started the company and made her dependent on her. This way she'll always have a successful job and pushes Brooke to the sidelines of her own company.

thisismaria27
>>38382286

Haha true. But like Juli said she's a little biased. Plus, that was 4 seasons ago... Nathan has evolved SO MUCH since then.

Asaunte
>>38382532

I hate how Leyton shippers treat Lindsey. They hate her even though she never did anything to warrant it.

Daniel French

It's so obvious that Lucas still loves Peyton, but he is just trying to ignore his feelings towards her, as for what he said to peyton, I don't think it was a bad thing to say, but it was insensitive and unfair to Peyton and Lyndsey. I love Lucas, but he can say totally the wrong things sometimes!! Great reaction as always Juli, can't wait for more!

Nebulous Shooter
>>38383823

Speaking of Lucas and saying the wrong things, I remember back in the day stumbling upon some portion of the fanbase that were holding Lucas responsible, that because he was a writer, he had somehow a power over the girls in his live, that he was abusing. Basically, because he was good with words he was supposedly manipulating the girls. OTH fanbase used to be wild!

thisismaria27
>>38383823

I mean Lucas was never abusive that's for sure. But he is really insensitive a lot of times and he is truly messed up when he's heartbroken. And the way he treated Peyton and Lindsay in S5 is terrible.

thisismaria27
>>38383294

I agree. I ship leyton too a lot, but every single time he's trying to deny his feelings for Peyton he's using other women to get over her and ends up breaking their hearts.

izzy

Lucas be using other girls to hide his feelings for Peyton LMFAO. yes Peyton call his ass out "he's not good enough for you? I don't want you saying things like that to me, its not fair to me and its not fair to Lyndsey either"

Nathan
>>38382763

“We’re not in high school anymore” Is a line that keeps being spoken by Brooke in this season and it pretty much sums up how she’s really learned a lot from her mistakes.

izzy
>>38383823

Lucas was never abusive lol he is a cheater and he uses other girls to hide what he really wants, he thinks he is in love with other girls but really he wants Peyton and when it doesn't work out he goes to another girl, like Brooke or Anna or Nikki or Lyndsey. Abusive is a strong word, he manipulates himself and tries hard to avoid his true feelings with feelings he thinks he has with other girls

izzy
>>38383823

the real person getting manipulated is Lucas with himself

Enzo

Omg you made me soooooo laugh in this reaction because of the camera, the way you laugh at your own jokes and the way you are... is just amazing I love you sm!! 😂 This episode wow okay!! Back then I had 0 opinion about this Mouth thing but now I just think about it and you’re right you won’t pass that in 2020. This storyline is more than wrong and mouth is just becoming a whinning person it’s annoying. 🙄 Loved loved Peyton calling out for Lucas. You’ll see Lucas being so annoying in this season. It might be his WORST season !! They writed him really awfully. My love for Brooke is growing this season and I love millicent you’ll see she’s amazing. The actress for Victoria is perfect! Daphné is her real name, she’s so great at this! GO EPISODE FIVE 😍

Enzo
>>38383294

He is always like that and it is just ridiculous. I hate this side of him

Anna

Lucas this season is just straight up horrible. It's one thing that he never truly knows what he wants and always hiding himself and his heart in relationships, but treating his girls the way he does sometimes is horrifying. Geez, I cannot with him. It's just awful. I have never hated him more than what I did this season. I think the reason why I don't like any of the ships involving Lucas is because of how horrible he can be to his girls. Even Peyton, who supposedly is his soulmate. I don't even like her that much, but I still thinks she deserves better than him. "he's not good enough for you." I mean... what a jerk move. Sometimes I think he shouldn't even be allowed to date people and I honestly wouldn't mind it if he ends up alone.

Anna

I always hated Victoria for treating Brooke the way she does and for making her feel like less than what she is. It physically hurts my heart seeing Brooke crying and I just want to hug her and make the pain go away.

thisismaria27
>>38389339

ugh same!! I just love Brooke soooo much. But I love how Brooke is slowly fighting back and believing in herself. She is way more than just a pretty face. Her strength, her tenacity and her empathy are only a few of the qualities that make her a better person than Victoria could ever be.

Gandhi_18

It’s like the writers of the show were like: LETS FUCK UP LUCAS AND MAKE HIM UNIVERSALLY HATED THIS SEASON! 😂😂 Season 5 Lucas was really hard to watch, thank god for season 6 tho.

thisismaria27
>>38394752

Hahahaha!! That is SO TRUE! It feels like this extreme contrast between Lucas and Brooke that season - while he we were riding his hate train more and more each episode, Brooke was thriving and growing and evolving and looking more gorgeous than ever while doing it.

Willy

Love your reactions but you are way to hard on mouth in my opinion

fry

mouth and millie only interacted for a short period of time but i swear i love them so much and i ship them so hard

Lexi

I don’t agree at allllll with your thoughts on mouth 😂 I think that lady is rude and someone needs to tell her to get the stick out of her butt

Chantelle Miles

Sorry but if u really think Quinton is nothing like Nathan was then U dont know Nathan at all, he was Exactly like that, cocky arrogant and a selfish player..he also called a teacher a slut etc so Quinton is alot like Nathan and is a lovely boy who's just cocky and wants to make it just like Nathan did.

Mary-Eliza

The person who played Jason his name is Kevin Federline who was Britney Spears's boyfriend/husband at the time and is the father of her two sons. At this time he was really trying to become a musician didn't work out well lol he stopped a few years later :)
