I’ve been waiting for this, I hope after the third film you try reacting to the HSM series, only 10 episode each about 30 mins or less

fry

yay i’m so excited to watch go wildcats

fry

also the creator just came out recently saying that ryan is gay but since this was on disney that they didn’t outright say it and he said ryan would most likely come out in college

supervalor

Also fun fact, Zac Efron doesn’t fully sing in this film. He was a lot younger I believe 18? And wasn’t comfortable singing and his voice hadn’t fully developed so they ended up subbing over his voice with another actor, but some of the songs are mix of Zac’s voice with the other actor/singer. But Zac sings fully in the 2nd and 3rd film.

heather

Where my love for Zac Efron began lol! I had a HSM themed bedroom🤣 And as someone else mentioned, Drew Seeley sings for Zac in this movie, but Zac sings in the other 2!

heather

Also, the actor who plays Ryan was Toby in Switched at Birth!

fry

my childhood! the 2nd movie is my favorite out of all three but this one will always hold a special place in my heart. you were so right about kids learning the dances i would try to learn the dance to all in this together. fun fact vanessa hudgens and zac efron actually dated for a really long time

fry

this movie literally tricked me when i got to high school i thought it would be just like this but my school had no school spirit at all lol

fry

hsm was before glee and i remember everyone would compare glee to hsm and cory said that glee was hsm punched in the stomach lol

heather

The show is called HSM: The Musical: The Series & it’s on Disney+ (10 episodes so far) I really liked it, so I hope you can react to it too!

miah.sun

very nostalgic for me lol. I really like Ryan in these movies. His and Sharpay's dramatics are hilarious. I think this came out in 2006 and Glee came out in 2009.

heather

One final comment lol... So many people tuned into the Disney Channel to watch (I think the 2nd movie still has the record for most viewers on the premiere day) & HSM 3 was released in theaters!!

Emily

Watching this with you was so fun! It brought back so many memories from childhood, I was def one of those people who memorized those dance moves lol! Super excited for you to react to the next two movies, they're both amazing as well!

yeah it was drew seeley for this film, that's why he performed for the live shows singing troy with Vanessa

izzy

PLEASE REACT TO 17 AGAIN WITH ZAC EFRON. It's not a kids movie lol but its hilarious and he also plays basketball there too lol

Enzo

Okay I’m going to watch this one tonight, excited! Love HSM!

Grace

I used to love this movie, me and my friend did breaking free in the school talent show and wore wildcat outfits. The obsession was real ahah. Loved your reaction x

Jenny V

I know you have a system of how you choose your movies and whatnot but I was just wondering if you’ll add Hamilton to your list? Considering it’s on Disney+ and I feel like you’ll enjoy it a lot

Caitlyn Skiff

This was my favorite movie as a kid. Zac Efron was my first crush, and I still love him. I really enjoyed your reaction, and yes as someone who loved this movie as a kid I learned and still mostly know all the dance moves to We're All In This Together.

Idun V

Bop to the Top has not aged well 🤣

Rohan Aslam

YESS THESE WERE MY FAV MOVIES GROWING UP! :)

Gracie

You’re right. I’m pretty sure I can still do the choreo from we’re all in this together.

Elodie

My sister and I used to watch that trilogy all the time. We both had a huge a crush on Zac Efron .

Carine Allen

my favorite in the HSM movies was Ryan hahaha. Funny how watching this again I can really differentiate from when Zac start singing and when then they change to Drew (he didn't play the role ate the time because he was older, but I love Drew! he is such a swettie s2)

Really? I actually found it kind cute his relationship with kelsi in the end, but of course he can be bisexual, at the time, I liked the idea of the "feminine" boy not always being gay like they always do in these kind of movies, I think you can like "boy and girls" things without meaning anything. But I wish they did a movie of Ryan in college to see that hahaha
