I thought this was a great filler episode and I always really liked it!! There are definitely some cringy lines lol but I LOVE all the parallels between this universe and the real one. All the call back lines that have been said in previous episodes. I LOVE the costumes and the overall vibe, I thought it was fun!

Yeah, this episode is a weird one, written by Chad Michael Murray (Lucas) he had the idea to pay homage to the 1940s. It’s one of those that you watch once and never really again XD.

I actually really liked this episode, maybe it’s just the nerd in me but I’ll take one parallel universe episode in a season any day. I don’t care if it doesn’t progress the story, just to see the characters I love in a different universe is everything. I read too many fics man.

I normally really love alternate universe type episodes of shows, but this one didn't hit the mark with me. I've only watched it twice before this reaction and I probably won't ever watch it again. It's fine, and there are things I really enjoy, like Haley singing, but it's just not one that I care about.

This episode was just not good lmao. Chad Michael Murray wrote the episode and I think they wanted to make it an AU so that he wouldn’t affect the canon world. It just didn’t work for the show.

I Highkey wish you could have skipped the episode I would have just recommend that you watch the beginning and the end and then go straight into 6x12

Not a huge fan of the episode overall and it isn't my favourite au ep ever but I only ever watch it for Naley haha! I love the music in this ep and I appreciate the fact you can tell the cast had fun. I think Joy in particular was in her element here.

I really enjoy AU's when they are good. This episode was just terrible. lol I think I remember Chad's favorite scene being Dan and Haley's? Not sure if my brain invented this but that's all that came to me when you watched it.

Welcome to the one single episode of OTH I actually don't watch...I really really don't feel it, it's a non episode, there's no point to it in my opinion

why does everyone think this is the worst episode in oth? I loved this episode, it does makes sense, the idea that Nathan and haley are meant to be even in a different universe, the idea of Lucas being afraid of Peyton getting hurt and then in the real world his fear happens in the end of the episode, the idea of dan being the villain in his other universe and still the villain in his current life, the idea that Julian is someone Lucas cant trust which is how he felt about knowing Julian and Peytons relationship, the idea that Brooke is broke because In the real life her company is gone to Victoria. The idea of Nathan going away similar to him trying to get scouted and going away from the family and the idea of haley being a singer like she was in her real life. This episode had style and interpretations that you have to really think to see the parallels in Lucas dream VS his real life. I think if you actually view the writing and story of this Alternate Universe, you'd actually like it. Instead of watching it as a weird and unusual story setting. I loved it!!

I think I repressed this episode because I literally don't remember a single scene from this lmao like ... I love a noir based episode but it was so over the top cheesy and the nonstop violence against women was.... a lot. Like a lot. Like if you compare this noir style episode to PLL's noir style episode.... PLL blew this out of the water. They don't do that very often LOL

Honestly, I know this episode isn’t the best. But I like how it gave nods to and included a lot of things that the characters have went through over the years in one episode. I actually thought it was neat. It also plants some seeds for the future. 👀

Gotta love how Nathan and Haley are busy getting married, meanwhile Mouth is getting murdered. Then they're kissing in the rain, meanwhile Peyton is getting murdered... Why does that describe their relationship perfectly though? Like, obviously they go through a lot and they do care about what's going on with everyone else. But while everyone else is going through shit and making mistakes and failing at relationships, they're just going strong... Hahaha
