Hi Juli! Just wanted to say that your reactions bring so much joy to my day and I love laughing (and sometimes crying) along with you!! Thank you for being so honest and personal in your sharing - I know how difficult it must be to talk about this. I hope you continue to react at your own pace and focus on your own wellness knowing your community supports you 💜

Juli we love you and want you to react at whatever pace you feel comfortable with, and to react to whatever makes you happy at the time. We'll be here to support you no matter what! :)

We're also here whenever you need to talk, whenever you're ready.

You are so strong. Take care of yourself, ❤️

i wish this wasn’t happening to you juli, but you are so strong and the silver lining of this is how closer it brought you and your mom together. When you were talking about her and josh keeping you strong that made my heart so happy. it doesn’t matter if you are doing reactions, just hearing from you makes the day better. Also you talking about josh going through puberty was hilarious😂

I'd honestly trust the therapists more than anyone else. Some people deal with things, and some people repress things in order to move on. Both are healthy. imo. But I'm glad you are trying to get help. The crying part is understandable. I am like that, with my depression/sadness. I just get lethargic, and flat. No emotions. I think that's also the body's way of coping with it.

Yes you are right! My bond with my mom grows stronger every day and that really makes me feel good. Knowing she is there for me and Josh really helps. And trust me going trough puberty with Josh is HILARIOUS! Every day that kid surprises me and sometimes I don’t even know what to do or say but I love him so much bc even with all this changes he is still very sweet when we just lay down and talk about our favorite shows or random things. I’m so lucky to be his mom.

Yeah I guess so. It’s so tiring tho right? Bc I feel like If I could just cry it will all go away or it won’t hurt too much idk. But I just can’t and that makes me feel sad 😔

Natasha G

I think one of the best things to do right now is validating every emotion. Including the fact that you are sad because you can't cry. Even if your mind is repressing some things I have found validating *all* of my emotions really helpful in my own road to recovery.
