As I just said you need to post more you go and post again 😭😭 I love you

Enzo

Okay so apparently we can now talk about the big change! Hilarie and Chad left the show. So we’re not going to see them for the rest of the series. That was a big change and some people literally stopped watching the show because they were the « essence » of the show and I almost did but I kept watching until the end. Definitely not the same without them but still good. Hilarie left because she was sexually assaulted by the creator of the show. There is lots of videos about that and we can discuss about that in Sunday!

Enzo

Also, Hilarie said her character went through hell every season, she thought it was about time to let her character breathe and be happy, have a happy ending (the S6 finale), because we know if she did not leave the show (which isn’t for this reason) the creator would have tortured her character until the end of the series. thank god they did not kill her at the end of S6, I was really scared about that back then because we did not know how her character would have ended.

codenamewitch xx

hahaha Juli's reaction to Rachel and Dan - I am cracking up

Enzo

Alex Dupré is one of my favorite character in S7-8, I love her SM!!!!!!!!!

heather

LOL so... Rachel 😅😂

Enzo

As you told, Leyton are the essentiel of the show and that definitely is not the same for me without them

update: Juli won't read any comments until the livestream on sunday so you can communicate freely here, so you don't have to delete any comments. :)

I always liked the reason Quinn left David. She noticed that she was waking up everyday not feeling connected to her husband, not wanting to take his calls, and they didn't miss each other when they were apart. They no longer made each other a priority and when she mentions she understands there is supposed to be this big huge reason to abandon her marriage but there isn't is something I felt. She didn't do what many others do in her situations, she didn't ignore all of the red flags that people ignore that leads to someone cheating on their spouse or something larger. She recognized this marriage to David wasn't what she wanted everyday for the rest of her days and I always respected that. She also never treated him like he was wrong and she was right, she knew that it was her feelings that were leading to this.

Rubi Moon

I can’t wait for you to get to know Alex more. I won’t say how you should feel about her, but... I think you’ll end up there anyways. If not, it’s fine. But still I can’t wait. Also your reaction to Rachel and Dan was exactly what I expected. I think that will also be interesting to see how you feel about it in the end. Also the Renee and Nathan storyline... I won’t say anything cuz if might spoil, but I’ll just say... I look forward to your reactions to it.

Lucas

Nathan...Can you believe this guy !

heather

So yeah... Leyton left the show for good. It's definitely a huge change for OTH because they were a key part of the show. For me though, I didn't mind it because Leyton left the show in a good way. They had their happy ending. As mentioned before, Hilarie was sexually assulted by the show creater (Mark) and Chad decided to leave when she did. Alex is here! I also disliked her at first (I'm sure most do) but she became to be one of my favorites.

heather

And Nathan... I'll just stay that the Naley drama is back for a bit lol. Oh and for Rachel and Dan.. it's definitely weird to me, but it doesn't feel out of character for them lol. I completely understand why Quinn decided to leave David. Better to end it than stay in an unhappy marriage which could eventually lead to cheating and such.

Rubi Moon

Rachel finally got a Scott lol. She just had to almost kill one and cheat with the other to get there 😂

ashley mann

You know quinn because she is patty in the flash

Kayla

i believe chad left to pursue his career further away from oth which left hilarie in a place where peyton made no sense in the story anymore and it also had to do with the fact that the oth creator mark schwann had a disgusting obsession with her and literally harassed her constantly. his obsession is shown even this season with daneel (rachel) who came back due to her contract but got paired up with dan since she knew that way mark wouldn’t be able to harass her like he had in prior seasons. i feel so terrible for all the woman in the cast and crew who had to put up with that vile man due to needing a job.

Dove

The part that kills me is that I think Brooke and Millicent actually do a great job with the Spanish pronunciation but then they start talking about beer lol.

Juliette

I love Alex !

Juliette

I hate that they completely destroyed Rachel character. The bts impacted so much the show in a bad way (Hilarie leaving, Rachel character development...). Such a shame the show did have such a disgusting and evil director

JP Phillips

Who else watching Juli's reactions to distract themselves from the usa election

Anne M.

So yeah, the end of s6 was the last Leyton episode :( I just wanted to take a second to say how much they mean to me, and how much I adore them because one, they deserve it more than anything, and two, it makes me really sad to see so much negativity towards them, so I feel I have to send some appreciation their way. I know they've never been your favourite, and you've always prefered Naley and now Brulian as well, like most people, but to me, they were everything. They were the heart of the show, the most epic love story. I mean, there's a reason The Comet quotes are still use to this day in a lot of fan videos for other couples ^^ Their relationship was all about destiny and fate, and it was big and it was epic. They were my very first ship, the main reason why this show means so much to me, and I will always love them deeply. And even individually, Peyton is of my favourite fictional character ever, and perhaps the one I can most relate to. And even Lucas, I always felt like people didn't appreciate him enough. So the show was never the same for me after they left. I'm looking forward to seeing you react to the last seasons, though ♥

That may be weird but to me, Rachel ending up with Dan was not out of character.. I mean I did not really see many character development

Leora Nechama

You might recognize Quinn from The Flash (as Patty) or The Boys (as Rebecca). She's gorgeous.

Leora Nechama

Your reaction to the Rachel reveal. xD I mean, it's a Rachel thing to do honestly. They're perfect for each other. Both manipulative users. It made total sense to me.

fry

ALEX!!!!! i love her with all my heart i’m so happy she’s here

fry

also your reaction to dan and rachel was priceless. i’m more than convinced that mark was trying to live out his weird fantasy with daneel by putting rachel with dan

fry
>>47187694

i think it was such a regression for rachel, last time we saw her she was a mess but she was trying to get her life together only for them to not show her for a whole season and have her be with dan of all people and being worse then him? i think it was all bitterness from mark tbh he made rachel’s character go downhill cause he was salty daneel didn’t want him

Lexi

Hilarie who plays Peyton Left the show because of harassment problems with I believe the director and there was just a bunch of drama and sexual assault and stuff going on the set with one tree hill so I believe that’s why she left And then Chad Michael Murray who plays Lucas I at first heard that they weren’t going to pay him more for the season and as well they just didn’t want him I guess Lucas without peyton in or vice a versa didn’t make sense so they got rid of both of them it’s sucks without them it’s not the same

Ashley Laduranteay

Weirdly I kind of like Rachel and Dan together. Though that might just be my subconscious kicking in knowing that the reason Danneel came back was that Paul Johansson would protect her from Mark's sexual harassment.

Destiny Marie

I’m surprised to see that everyone here loves Alex, the only character I’ve hated more than her was Ian (Peyton’s stalker).

Same. I've never watched the show post Season 6 (despite owning the full box set,) but I decided to finally crack the plastic yesterday and I can't stand Alex.

FfiB

Finally Caught Up!! This was my show growing up and I am loving your reactions. Seriously came straight across to Patreon once I found out you were so many seasons ahead here and have just binged the lot. :D Hope to see more soon, cause your reactions to OTH bring a massive smile to my face.
