As said previously this originally was going to be the series finale before the 13 episodes were ordered for Season 9. I think if this had been the series finale, it would've been good, but I'm glad we have season 9 100%

Rubi Moon

It is crazy that I only paid for the first episode and here you are on episode 174 with 13 episodes left. I'm so happy that you reacted to this series. It truly is a journey and such a great treat to watch from Peyton and Brooke and Haley and Nathan and Lucas and their journeys to now with Quinn, Clay, Alex, Millie, and even the smaller characters just truly make this show a wonderful experience and every season really does deliver. I know it's not over yet, but thank you.

Rubi Moon

The Air Force is aerial military so planes and jets and fighting. Chuck is tall for his age, and Jamie is short for his age so it's a mix of both. Your reaction to the normal intro XD. Kate Voegle is beautiful.... even if Mia can be annoying.

Rashelle Rego

man just wait till season 9, the witters said fuck it lets go all in ......

Rashelle Rego

the season 9 finale is even more perfect. ooo and when you eventually watch the full oth check out the podcast that the girls(Joy, Sophia, Hilaria) are doing

heather

Your reaction to the original theme song is a mood lol! Love this finale!! I wish we had more episodes of Brooke being pregnant tho :) Brulian and Naley are perfect!!! So excited for you to start s9, it’s one of my favorites :) Can’t believe we only have 13 eps left

fry

i can’t believe oth named an episode after miley cyrus

The character of Dan, I can imagine for Juli as well, will always break my heart. I know, I know what he did was bad but his story, after going to prison, is just so sad. He truly regrets what he did and I know he completely hates himself from what he did. And since getting out of prison he has done so much good for the people around him but it will never make up for the life he took and the damage he caused. No one forgets what he did, and he never will either, but seeing him all alone in the diner eating food with nothing except a baseball and a picture of a granddaughter he has never met was just HEARTBREAKING. His character is one of the greatest and honestly he made OTH what it is today. His relationships with the characters was one of the things that truly made the later seasons so strong, hate him or love him, the effect his character has had on all the other characters lives is so prominent in the storylines, especially Nathan. After Nathan found out what he did, his entire character changed, he wasn't just the boy who was used and abused by his dad but he became the man forced to live the rest of his life never being able to have a somewhat stable relationship with his father again. I'm not taking away from Lucas' pain regarding Keith but it must really suck to have your dad still alive but having a guilty conscience when you even think about talking to him. Because deep down Nathan 100% wants that relationship but he keeps telling himself he can't. It's such a tragic story, like they're both 2 completely different people now compared to season 1, and if Dan hadn't done what he did but still became a better man, they could've had a great relationship. They're so close yet so freaking far. So the same emotions you get from watching the Dan and Nathan scenes is the exact same for me, their moments are so powerful and layered and complex that it just makes me so sad.

i'm so excited for season 9! and i know you want to take your time but it would be amazing if we could just binge all 13 episodes in one week ;)

fry

since you got to the twins can we finally talk about how the oth writers really named every child after the wife’s last name? nathan and haley named their son james, lucas and peyton named their daughter sawyer, and now brooke and julian named their son davis

Olivia

you said you may listen to the first episode of the girls podcast, can you please do a reaction to it (if you can)

fry

with all the reboots happening icarly and gossip girl imagine an oth reboot with the kids. sawyer jamie madison chuck lydia jude davis [redacted] and [redacted] i would honestly watch that and bring back naley brulian leyton and every one else as the parents

random add on but i would love a victorious reboot and you could actually get jori forreal but like ariana is probably too busy for that 😭

Jared Scoggin

I really love this episode, but I wish we could have gotten some of these stories extended for longer than one episode. I think this could have worked as a series finale, but I'm so glad we got season 9.

Caitlyn Skiff

I am sad that this season is over for you. Personally season 8 is one of my favorites! And although I'm not a fan of season 9, I am looking forward to your reactions even if it means the end is near.

Frankie

I can’t believe your so close to finishing the show 😞 season 9 is great! I love it!

I agree it must be harder for Nathan in that regard than Lucas. Bc Lucas can just hate him and see him for the family he took from him. But Nathan has this emotional conflict of loving a man he is supposed to hate. Dan taking Keith's life can never be erased and Nathan will also never forgive him for that, but he also knows that this is not all Dan is and that makes it more complicated. When Nathan gave Dan the baseball and the picture, you could see Dan light up. Paul's acting is incredible.

it always felt to me like oth ended nearly every season as a potential season finale - esp the S4, S6, S7 and S8 finale.

SamTheMars

I really appreciated season 9. I mean it wasn't the best but I really do like it and appreciate it. IT gives a sense of like a bigger and better ending if that makes sense? It's a little different than the other seasons, so be ready for that (not in a bad way) :) When are the next episodes coming out?? :)

i believe jamie is named after haleys dad but the other two is quite odd but it cute

Anna

I really like how the 3 scenes with Clinn, Brulian and Naley sort of mirrored each other and showed the different stages of where they are in their relationships. Clay and Quinn seem very happy and at peace with just the two of them, Brooke and Julian about to be parents and preparing for the twins to be a part of their lives, and then you have Naley and the kids who are in such a stable place and living the family life.

Anna

My favourite part about your s8 reactions have been your uhm, let's just call it hatred, for the covers of the intro. Each episode I couldn't stop laughing at how hilarious your reactions were. And now in this episode where the original version was back and you just jammed your heart out. Truly amazing.

Anna

I can't believe we're at the end of season 8. It's been such an incredible one and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. There were a lot of incredible things that happened this season, but my favourite storyline is probably Brooke being pregnant, She had been hoping, dreaming and wishing for this for so long and also had to deal with the pain of being told she wasn't able to have kids. And I'm just so happy that she finally got the boy and the babies. But I also wish Brooke's pregnancy lasted longer. I would've loved to see all those little moments with Brooke and Julian throughout the pregnancy and preparing for parenthood. Or things like hormonal Brooke would've been so much fun and entertaining.

I think the podcast is a perfect thing to react to after she finished the series. Like a new weekly thing to fill the OTH void she will feel once it's all over.

Leora Nechama

I still hate Dan lol. Brulian are so cute though I loved Julian talking to the babies in the incubators about how strong Brooke is and how their family w. I hope we get season 9 soon I can't wait to see your reactions. <3
