So many people do forget their kids in the car that a lot of new cars they have an alarm that reminds you to check for children in the back seat before you leave the vehicle. My mom was driving her friends new (super expensive) car and it told her to check every time before she opened the door. I think that’s great, I just hope they will make them in more accessible and affordable cars since this was a car that most people would never be able to afford sadly.

Agree with the eating disorder talk and how crappy this was to give Mouth’s character this last arc in the show. And yes with the fat shaming.. skills nonchalantly telling mouth that he’s fat was to say how common it is for guys to tell their friends when they get fat and to shame them over their weight. Just because something is common, doesn’t make it okay. Scroll past this If you don’t want to read personal stuff, but I wanted to share this for people who don’t know much on the topic: My little brother growing up got shamed for being “fat” when he was slightly overweight. He cried so many days about it when he was in his pre teens. I also have binge eating disorder that I’m really struggling to control and it’s the hardest thing I’ve had to go through and so embarrassing and we feel so shameful about it and often isolate ourselves. I can’t just “not do it”. It’s an addiction like any other and I need help from professionals. (and I have severe chronic illness and can’t stand for more than 10 mins at a time from chronic pain so that’s why I say it’s the hardest thing I’ve gone through.)

I love Chris and Chase’s scenes lol they work so well together. This Mouth storyline… so unnecessary and not done well at all. I always skip those parts when I rewatch. So excited for you to see how Clay’s storyline unfolds!! I think it’s super interesting. I feel so bad for Julien :( The ending 😭 can’t wait for the next ep!!

If you want to know something awesome and cool about the Haley/Julian scene in the cafe. Joy did this scene by heart and it wasn’t really scripted words. These are her words. Joy went off script! She’s amazing that way. Everyone praised her for it. That’s why it came off so genuine and real.

So many heartbreaking scenes in this episodes. I felt for both Brooke and Julian in this situation. You could tell how guilty and bad Julian felt for what he did and ofc Brooke is gonna be overprotective and wanting to keep her eyes on both boys at any time. Both Brooke and Julian are truly so lucky to have Haley as their friend. The one-on-one scenes she had with each of them are probably my favorite scenes from the episode. Haley is just so wise and supportive and it warms my heart witnessing the close friendship she has with them.

I know I preach about it a lot, but Bethany in that scene in the cafe. I just read a comment saying it was her improvisation and that just makes so much sense, The hand movements, the dialogue, everything about that scene was done so well. I love the actress's range, she's powerful. Austins are also one to praise this episode, the look of regret in Julian's eyes throughout the episode was so painful. I love when shows like this allow their characters to go through these dark moments and grow from them. Sometimes, the trauma and guilt get skipped past, which has been the case on this show, but I liked that they gave Julian this episode for such a huge storyline.

i think if done right mouth’s storyline could have been really good but instead they tried to take the comedic route with it instead of treating obesity and food addiction like a serious topic
