As sad as I will be for you to finish One Tree Hill, I would be excited for a new show to join your rotation. In my opinion, one of the best replacements for OTH that has the same vibe would be Parenthood (NBC). This show has always had such a soft spot for me (maybe because I watched it with my family) but it gave perspectives to different types of family dynamics and the members within a family. I specifically loved Dax Shepard (Kristen Bell’s Husband) in this show and I always get excited when another Parenthood cast member joins him on his podcast to reflect on their experience.

I would really love for you to watch once upon a time :)

The finale is longer btw, so I think you should save it for another day.

Rhiannon Huffman

The next episode is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series I can’t wait for you to watch it!

Okay, I'm gonna hate myself for saying this, but I gotta do it! The irony of Xavier causing Brooke to fall down the stairs when the first time he attacked her, she told everyone she fell down the stairs... I'M SORRY!

heather

love this episode sm! the dynamic between dan, chris and julian was so funny. my girl brooke 🥺🥺 cant wait for the next ep, one of my fav from the series- get ur tissues ready!

fry

CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT EP

Rubi Moon

Also can I just say how well filmed the Brooke vs Xavier scene was? It's honestly one of my favorite scenes in the series because of the acting both actors did and the camerawork.

fry

xavier used to scare me so much back when i watched this for the first time that i would look up any videos of the actor so i would distance him from the character as much as possible

Raven

I've seen this episode so many time and was still stressed right along side you. Cant wait for the next one! I agree you should save the finale for it's own day. It's a lot emotionally but amazing 😭❤

The way I can't wait till the next episode!! Also are you still gonna react to the pilot before the last episode? Maybe you should do a poll idk. This episode was insane, Dan gets MVP, every single one of his scenes was incredible. I loved him looking out of Julian when he left him out of the car and him walking through and shooting up. But the moment Nathan calls him dad BREAKS me, this is everything he's wanted for I think about 9 years. Paul is a phenomenal actor. The Xavier and Brooke scenes had me shaking, I wish we got to see Brooke kick his ass a bit more but I like the scenes we got, although she didn't have any weapons she was still moving strategically. Xavier is a whole sociopath and we hate. Probably one of the best villains on this show for me.

To replace OTH I would highly suggest All American, it even has the same writers as OTH. There's a level of maturity to the writing that most teen dramas are missing at the moment and I know you'll love it

or dawsons creek cuz its the most similar to one tree hill in the aspect of shows during the early 2000s

Vanessa Navarro

Will you be reacting to (or at least listening) to their podcast?

Leora Nechama

Who else could Dan call? Umm Deb? Crazy granny with the gun? xD I love what they did but I also could have definitely enjoyed seeing Dan and Deb fight for Nathan together after everything they've been through.

Leora Nechama

Not gonna lie I don't feel bad for Dan. I don't think he deserved redemption. Even saving Nathan I feel like was selfish to a degree because it was because he wanted redemption for himself and he wanted not to be alone and to be connected to his son/grandkids.

Leora Nechama

Also please consider Life Unexpected after this. It's great - only 2 seasons - and it had a OTH crossover episode. <3

Leora Nechama

Chris and Julian were so good here. Their dynamic with Dan was so much fun. My husband always calls Chris Keller "the realest fake guy you know". xD Sophia is also great in this one. As much as I hate Xavier the actor is also really good.

izzy

we never expected to cry for dan. Its not only cuz of his development but because of the actor. He's such an amazing actor and this is why dan is in my top 5

fry

all american is so good and it has extreme oth vibes and a great lesbian couple you would love it!!!

Frank

Girllll get your tissues READY for the next series of episodes! Especially the next one. I can't wait. Next episode is my favorite of the ENTIRE 9th season. It's soo good. I remember my reaction the first time I seen it. *chefs kiss
