Just an opinion but I hate Barchie. I think they are just boring. I prefer Bughead. Still hate betty for what she did to Jughead though. I do think Jughead deserves someone more like Tabitha at the moment somone who won't cheat on him with his best friend. (which I still don't think Archie apologized for) I hope Bughead is together in the future but I think Jughead is truly the happiest he has been in a really long time with Tabitha. I don't like Varchie together at all. I like her better with Reggie but I think Veronica needs to be on her own for a while.

I also love Tabitha and Jughead way more than Barchie. She was there for him when he was a really dark place and she helped him through it. So if the do get back together I don't want it to be for a long time. I am happy with the way things are going with Jughead and Tabitha. So I have mixed emotions

fry

bughead is such an ugly ship and they are even uglier after the time jump the writers would be very stupid to go back to that

conner erwin

I hope you do more dawsons creek

i didn't actually hated Veronica's performance i mean at least it was mashed in with other scenes and wasn't the full song i also loved Archie and Betty dancing to it that was so cute!! i love that Archie, Betty and Veronica are back to being best friends, but i hate that they're hinting at bringing Bughead/Varchie back we don't want it!!!

Unpopular opinion…..even thought i like barchie together, i kinda miss varchie and bughead a little bit. Tbh

Also im not the biggest musical fan on riverdale, but Veronicas performance was kinda a bob. I really liked it

I’ve always liked Barchie, but now that they’re actually together, I feel completely underwhelmed. I expected to enjoy them being together so much more than they do. But I personally think the awful storylines don’t help them 🤷🏼‍♀️ For the first time in 6 seasons though, I actually prefer Varchie to Barchie & I absolutely hate that

for someone that stopped watching after s4 and has seen how barchie is together through your reactions, barchie was more interesting when they weren't official. In my opinon based on the writing and how this stupid show is, barchie is that type of ship you ship but when they get together it ruins the tension and suspense you had when u were just shipping two friends. Now seeing them together they are just boring but again rivderdale makes no sense, the writing is trash and the show needs to end lol. Only makes sense to end the show the way it started with the original ships

THIS!! You have worded it perfectly. I never liked Bughead & I tolerated Varchie, but Barchie have always been my favourite out of the 3. But now that they’re together, I just don’t get it. And I’m glad that I’m not the only one who feels this way. I liked the “will they, won’t they?” aspect of their relationship, but now I feel like they have nowhere interesting to go. I’d much rather see the old ships find their way back to each other at this point… and this 100% includes Choni who the writers have clearly forgotten about at this point

thank you, i honestly thought I'd get attacked by a barchie fan lol. This show just needs to end cuz i dont even know how they even made it to six seasons lol. Nothing from s1-s6 adds up to where it is now

Aha, I do feel like a lot of Barchie fans are unable to take criticism when it comes to their ship… actually the same can be said about most fans in general. But, my favourite part about Pretty Little Liars (idk if you watched it) after the time jump, was seeing how each of the old couples found their way back to each other. Was it realistic? No, not really. But it was honestly more interesting than anything else going on in the show & I feel like Riverdale is kinda at that point now

unfortunately Riverdale was renewed for season 7 and it's not definitive if it'll be the last. many critics believe season 8 will be the last :/ i don't see how it can get better from here

olivia
>>84042656

I believe the cast are only contracted to do 7 seasons & I really cannot see any of them agreeing to do an 8th if they don’t have to

izzy
>>84042656

i feel bad for the cast cuz we all know its just a check to them especially lili she hates the writing lol i mean make that check lili lol

eh. Riverdale is my guilte pleasure show. I like that it has so many seasons, and got renewed. People who dont like it, dont need to watch it. Just my opinion. Also im glad that barchie got finally be explored. the always teasting (like a kiss) and then nothing, got boring at one point. I think they are fine.
