Yesss! For Simone 💕 but you absolutely can watch season 4 and then AA Homecoming. You may be missing some pieces of Jordan’s storyline but in my opinion you’re still able to keep up with it.

You’re correct Juli they are at an HBCU which stands for historically black college or university…I graduated from one (the illustrious Savannah State University in Savannah, Georgia 🐯)we take homecoming very seriously lol it’s the best time to turn up!!

Season 4 is spilt in half. So you can watch 4x1-4x8, without watching homecoming. After that the 2 shows run interconnected.

Somebody already said this but you were right, HBCU stands for historically black college/university. So they are mainly black students!

HBCU’s were built bc black ppl weren’t really allowed at white schools. So it’s a place Historically and culturally, where black ppl can exist together.

The nfl requires their players to attend at least 3 years of college. It gives the body’s to to grow and develop for the nfl because it is a much more physically demanding sport. The mlb does not require this it is up to the players in they want to go straight out of high school or attend college. Another example is the nba which is basketball requires their plays to attend at least one year of college then after that one year it is the player decisions

The NFL stands for the National Football League and requires at least 3 years of college before entering the draft. The MLB stands for Major League Baseball and doesn't require any college experience before entering the draft. You were correct in saying each sport is different. I haven't watched Homecoming yet (as I want to finish season 4 before going to the spinoff) but this is a really strong backdoor pilot. I love the Olivia and Simone dance.

It's really up to you if you want to watch all American season 4 first then homecoming. I think it's better to watch season 4 of all american like the first 4 or 5 episode then do the same for homecoming cause in the middle they do collab. Especially the new seasons coming up.
