I'm sorry but what Stef did was so wrong on so many levels. Privacy is the basic thing every human being deserves, no matter what they did. It's not something you take away because you're pissed at your kids. It's not their phones or their computers. It's one of the many reasons why I really, really don't like her character...

okay but what else is she suppose to do besides smacking sense into them? remember they took away their phones and computers and marianna still found a way. they never listen and they never obey even when callie is in juvie and jesus in the hospital, they were still secrets going on. Yes taking the doors is extreme but they need to grow up and understand to stop taking advantage of their moms kindness and rules.

Let's agree to disagree. I don't believe any behavior justifies what she did, but it's okay if you do :)

i do agree that the doors are extreme, i just cant think of any other way for them to stand their grounds to them cuz they have already took phones, computers and grounded them but it didnt stop the mess that came throughout s1-3, even a restraining order didnt stop brandon and callie lol overall their kids dont listen

Ah yes, the restraining order, another thing I find completely out of line. If my mom had done something like this, I would have never spoken to her again. And again, it came from Steph. But like I said, I think we just have a different way of seeing things and that's okay 😊

let's be honest, their children should've listened to them the first time around. the kids have a lot of learning to do, and a lot of growing up to do aswell. how else are they supposed to get their children to listen? like bella said before, they've already tried by taking their devices, but it didn't do anything. like literally what else is there to do at that point?

Literally anything else. But again, that's just my opinion. I don't think this is how you raise kids. And I must admit, I'm surprised that everyone seems to disagree with that, especially when the show itself proves how much more effective Lena's parenting style is. Just look at what happened when Brandon smoked pot. Because he trusted her enough, to call, he didn't hurt himself and she let him learn from his mistakes on his own and he never did it again. If she hadn't been there, he would never have called Stef, maybe put himself in danger and be severely punished on top of it. Even here, don't you think not going to Julliard and losing his dream is punishment enough? Does he need his privacy taking away from him like he's in prison on top of it? Especially when she's the one who pushed him away. If she hadn't been so hard to him, if she had just talked to him and listened to him about Callie, maybe he wouldn't have left the house like this and got involved with Courtney in the first place. Lena even said so as well at the time. So again it doesn't seem like her go to "let's punish first and actually talk later" works. But it seems I'm the only one who thinks so 😅

If anything steph better than me lmaoooo those kids didn’t listen for nothingggg like steph says one thing they do the complete opposite I do agree Lena parenting skills were a little better but only because she sweet talked them before finally yelling instead of straight yelling as Steph does
