I think the arguments between phones and computers are very different based on user experience. As far as computers go, I used to work for an international software company that rolled out Macbooks for employees (because end users were likely to be using ipads). Every single data/software engineer, data scientist, developer, etc. had Windows installed on theirs 🤣 I'd say in general Apple is more tailored to user experience (ease of use, aesthetically pleasing designs), whereas Android/PC/etc are designed for maximum productivity and functionality. (I absolutely love my Pixel phone because it does everything my PC does at similar rates and I can use it for personal use, work AND study)
