Hey Cin! How's it going? My back is much better. Still a little stiff in the morning or if i sit at my desk too long, but i am no longer functionally crippled. 😆 The townhouse is a no go. Basically, it's in a great neighborhood, it's got gorgeous high end flooring, light fixtures, sinks, etc and it was in my price range. I went to see it and I now know why it was in my price range... they made some bizarre choices during the last renovation. (I've put the link to the listing on Zillow, for the curious amongst the group) It used to be 2br 1.5ba. But they sealed up the door from the 2nd br to the hall. They added a new door from the 1st br into the 2nd br, and another door from the 2nd br into the ba. Then they turned the 2nd br into a giant walk in closet/ dressing room/ vanity/ laundry room. They installed 2 tiered garment racks on 2 full walls, a built in vanity/ armoire/ shelving unit on a third and the other wall has the w/d on it. So you couldn't even turn it back into a 2br without doing another major reno. All of that, and my realtor talked to the listing agent the day after it was posted they already had 7 offers, 4/7 were above asking price and 2/7 were all cash. OMG... I forgot about the "astro-turf"! 😆😆😆 It's not actually astro-turf. They had just laid grass seed right before putting it on the market. So in those pictures they digitally colored the area green to approximate what it will look like when the grass fills in. I can't make this shit up. Also that patio, deck and the floor of the shed... they didn't lay any sort of framework or support structure underneath. It's literally just been put down directly over the ground. So there's no support for the beams. You literally bounce when you walk. 🤦‍♀️
